We went here twice on our visit to Santa Margherita and both times it was great. The service was super helpful, the tuna sandwich was fresh and delicious, and the pastries were a nice add to the meal. We went in the morning around 10:30am for our first time and it was very busy and chaotic. Once we ordered our food was out quick and everything was reasonably priced. I suggest getting food to go and sitting on the scenic benches in the small square outside to eat your meal. We had to go back a second time because everything was just so good. Our second time we went around 2:40pm and it was a lot less busy if you’re looking for a quiet, late...

Per diversi anni era il top, adesso il livello è sceso drasticamente. Sabato-domenica è improponibile passarci una colazione. Lascio ad esempio l’ultima colazione : tavolo pulito con la mano e senza l’apposito panno. Ordiniamo e veniamo serviti dopo mezz’ora e dopo altre persone che avevano ordinato successivamente a noi. Non solo. Veniamo serviti con maleducazione e, siccome le brioches cioccolato e crema sono già finite (ore 10:30 di domenica mattina, inconcepibile che un bar pasticceria del centro di Santa Margherita abbia finito le brioches la domenica mattina) ci vengono rifilati un saccottimo ed un’olandesina , senza che ci venga chiesto se volessimo alternative differenti. Alle lamentele seguono risposte tipo: ma è solo una colazione… aggiungo che il succo alla pesca era caldo e la spremuta all’arancia aspra e piena di semi e polpa (manco io a casa me la faccio così). Completa l’esperienza pessima (ultima di una lunga serie negli ultimi 2 anni) il conto, che comunque è in linea con il prezzo medio di Santa Margherita Ligure: due caffè , un succo è una spremuta per un totale di: . 14.50. Sconsigliato ahimè, ormai buono giusto per le brioches post discoteca alle 6...

The food was really good and the macchiato was the best I’ve tasted on my trip to Italy. Service was fairly good. We went here twice during our time there. However, on our second visit, I asked to use the bathroom…the toilets are absolutely filthy and horrifying. I couldn’t even use it. So disgusting. Makes me question the hygiene...
