Oh my god, I'm still at the table and i feel the need to write this thing. This was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Don't expect a fancy interior, and a 30-odd choiche in fish, but authenticity: the menu is fixed and All You Can Eat; the ambiance is somewhat rustic, but nice. The people from the staff are really friendly and service is lightning-fast but... the food. THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC. Testaroli and testaieu are a typical ligurian dish, made from water, flour and salt, and they are served with a variety of sauces, including one of the best pestos I ever tasted. Will definitely be back. Will definitely suggest the place to friends and acquaintances. And the waiter just offed us spiced wine as a digestive help. What's not to love?!

Let's start with the positive: kind and English speaking staff. The not-so-positive: 1. No menu, only fixed dishes 2. No wine glasses, just basic glasses 3. The dry pasta and pancakes will drive you crazy. No taste in dishes #2 and #3. Dish #4 was inspirationless crudity served in butcher's paper. 4. We skipped dish #5... more dry pancakes with nutella, out of utter disappointment. I get the concept of going all local and basic, but the food served, just wasn't tasty and we left utterly disappointed. It was the worst food experience so far in Italy (1 week).

Exquisite traditional food with really generous portions over five courses, with half a litre of wine for €22. Great value for money, especially for Sestri Levante, where some of the other places are overpriced. Friendly service. I particularly loved the pesto. Surprised to see some bad reviews - I’d recommend ignoring them and going to this place! Make sure you arrive hungry

Sa cosa propone, come e perché ...
