Gelateria La Mandorla - Gelateria artigianale graniteria Siena — Restaurant in Siena

After being seated, we must have waited around 15 minutes for a menu (even though we said we'd just be having drinks). We sat another 20 minutes with the menus closed before us before a waitress came to take our order. 30 minutes later, we signaled the owner since we still did not have our drinks. It was only after he pointed this out to the staff that we got our drinks.

The drinks were nice, but not phenomenal, especially not after an hour of waiting and for 10 euros apiece.

Probably the best place I visited in Siena. A great gelato place. Really friendly and helpful staff, which serves amazing gelato. Got my usual fondant chocolate, and paired it with slaty caramel. Rich dark chocolate flavor with little coco nibs for some crunch, and really good caramel, although I would have liked a little more salt, but still very very good. Since it is close to the bus station, I definitely recommend to start your Siena trip there, or end it right before you get on the bus back. Or...

Can't recommend at all. I choose a medium cup for 3,50€ with 3 flavours. All flavours tasted the same and compared to the other gelatos, they didn't taste good. They don't put (like all the other's) way more in the cup. They only fill it to the edge of the cup (also weight the cup - ridiculous). On top of all the stuff is unfriendly and they only have a few different flavours you can choose. Honestly, i don't understand the other good reviews... was the worst ice cream store we...
