Shockingly appalling. Arriving at 9pm to a virtually empty place and greeted by the proprietress who tells me they're chiuso! I mentioned their website clearly says they're open until 11pm and the chef then says he can do a fillet mignon for me. Are you kidding me? I don't want a steak! Even offers a calamari dish which sounded fine side more out of exhaustion and hunger I Stay you have this one dish that was very simple and quite nice calamari and a basic tomato sauce with some pieces of grilled bread. The chef on his way out stops at my table and says it's wonderful isn't it I told you. I then wait for the owners to stop showing the iPhone pictures to the one table and things so I can get a check and get the hell out of there and to my horror I am charged $40 for this one dish. To put this in perspective in this part of Sicily that's more than my hotel. It's considerably more than I paid for a Michelin star 5 course lunch in Ragusa today. Beyond the extremely average fare, is the overpriced bill with zero service and a, "it's your lucky night, we're going to throw you a bone and over charge...

We had dinner for three, not the cheapest place but the food was delicious and Sicilian, not Italian. Entree 'Raw and cooked seafood' - this was spectacular and truly showcased the joy of seafood 'Squid salad' - beautiful seasoning, tender squid, lovely flavours 'Mussel and clam soup' - delicious. Very large serve for one, definitely a dish to share. Lovely tomato and fennel base to the soup with the flavour of the molluscs enhanced instead of outshone

We had pasta mains. I went with the truffoli which was packed with flavour and freshness

The menu had a good range of food available. Mains were 14-16 euro and entrees ranged...

This was the best dinner I had in Siracusa and I ate at Don Camillo as well. Get the sushi appetizer. It was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Also, very friendly staff. My boyfriend and I were wondering the streets looking for a place to eat, and even though we didn’t have reservations, they seated us. Go eat here. Also, get the dessert. It...

We wandered into this bistro on Easter Sunday on a recommendation from Lonely Planet, and were very impressed. We were served a delicious set Easter menu of local cheeses, sliced meats, carpaccio, ravioli, lamb and Sicilian cakes. The food was carefully prepared and to a high standard, yet had a simple, local charm. A lucky find!

I started with a wonderful “primi”, buth the “secondo” was not as good. The service is very good, the place is nice and they have a very original menu. Good ingredients, honest prices. Reservation is recommended, as they can be very busy, especially during high season. The restaurant is part of a small hotel/B&B.

Fantastic find, away from busy streets. Original and delicious variations on Sicilian food. Price was worth it and there was excellent service. Highly recommended.
