Definitely try the pistachio from Sicily (the favorite of myself and my mum) came here twice with my mum in 2 days as tourists (and if we were to return somewhere it means it's really good). In the first day we got a cone and a cup, the next day we came which is the day before we leave sicily, we loved the gelato so much we got a tub and shared it in the shop!

My biggest regret is that after eating the gelato here, I start pondering what is a gelato because most shops outside just seems to sell sub standard quality gelato that can't match. In fact, I worry I may not be able to eat gelato after today! Definitely give this a try and you won't regret. Best gelato in Ortigia, Syracuse, and maybe Italy!

Now I am on the quest to search for a gelato better than this place which will be a tough challenge! Will definitely recommend to friends to try this whenever visiting Sicily. A must try, sicily produce and gelato from sicily produce are just next level. Period.

LEVANTE GELATO ARTIGIANALE…….WOW

Very passionate owners make traditional Granite and Gelati…. Plus more. Not only is the place clean and modern, the service is awesome and whatever you do, TASTE the Mandarine Granita…… I loved it so much, we went 4 times in 2 days. I also tried their chocolate, pistachio, almond, peach, apricot granite and cremolata (it’s a creamier version of granite). Granite is shaved ice, but what’s important here is that at Levante, they don’t add milk or sugar to their granite. If you’re looking for gluten or dairy free, you’ve found a safe haven.

I cannot highly recommend this place and the quality of their product. They out-do any of the other places I’ve eaten granita. If you’re new to granita, give this a go, its a game changer! Do yourself a favor and taste their mandarine granita.

Wow, what a positive discovery in Ortigia! We highly recommend Levante!! 🤗 The texture and flavours of the ice cream and granitas are amazing! ❤️😋👍 You can tell that everything is freshly homemade with high-quality ingredients! 🙌 It is hard to choose between all the flavours but you can't go wrong.. everything is delicious! ❤️ And you can even have a cannolo filled with ice cream!
