We were looking for a place to try some local wine in Taormina. Al Grappolo d'uva claims to be a wine bar, but it's nowhere near.
Extremely limited selection by the glass and only listed by grape types. When I tried to enquire about what was being served to me, the waiter simply stated the grapes again. No information about the producer and no bottle presented.
Had some bruschetta which had a good tomato sauce, but the bread was a bit soft. Were also offered some complimentary chips, which were a bit stale.
No water...
Finally the waiter disappeared with my credit card and came back having finished the transaction. Not okay.
