We ate outside, and it was spectacular! Great food, service and ambiance. We were sat quickly even though it seemed like they expected us to have a reservation.

Food: We weren't very hungry, so we just got the swordfish roll and purple cauliflower souffle. Both were very fancily plated, and absolutely delicious. The swordfish wasn't fishy at all, and it all had a lot of flavor. The meal came with 3 kinds of bread; hard sesame bread sticks, soft crusted white bread and spongy crusted white bread. For dessert we ordered the canoli and pistachio semifredo. The canoli were absolutely incredible; full of flavor and fresh made. The pistachio semifredo was amazing as well, made from pistachios grown on Mt Etna!

Service: We were sat quickly, and attended to very well. The dishes also came quickly, and when we ordered dessert after we ate dinner (meaning the dessert would take a minute) they brought us small plates so we could snack on the bread with olive oil.

TL;DR We were able to get in without a reservation, but it was clear that they were expecting one. Amazing food, pistachio semifreddo with pistachios from Mt Etna, non-fishy swordfish roll, and incredible canoli. Fast,...

This was an impromptu, walk-in that turned out to be one of our favorite dinners in Sicilia. We sat in the beautifully lit garden and our server, Luca, treated us like royalty from start to finish. I should mention that we do not look like royalty, lol! Luca spoke English very well but was pleased that I wanted to practice my Italian. We asked for his recommendations for the wine ( a wonderful rosatta), the appetizer ( we split the night’s special zuppa with seafood) and the main course ( we shared a whole sea bass, prepared Sicilian style.). All were amazing and perfectly prepared. The Fish was baked and presented to us whole on a platter, then fileted and plated with the Sicilian tomatoes, capers and olives and roasted potatoes. We finished with tirimasu - not our first in Sicily - but possibly the best. We were then given complimentary limoncelli and after that, another liqueur that was made from sun dried, fallen grapes. Luckily we were staying nearby! I told him “Dormo qui!” He said that would be fine, they were closed the next day! An evening and a “cena”...

Worst experience in Italy so far.

We ordered:

  1. an octopus - tough as a resin
  2. pasta with lobsters - completely tasteless (at a price of 36 euros)
  3. sword fish rolls - that was ok but more like croquettes with sword fish and marinated onion

We commented to our waiter that we didn’t like the first 2 dishes and he was very sorry and understanding and promised to make it up for us by giving complimentary drinks.

The only compliment we got was the check that was incorrect and higher than it should be (the other waitress just accepted it and corrected the sum right in the payment terminal without even saying sorry)

Don’t waste your money visiting this place. Tbh you can get better price-quality in any pizza kiosk in Italy.

Not to sound like a food snob or something - just yesterday we went to another restaurant in Taormina with the same price level and everything was superb (btw we also ordered octopus and it was amazing - very...

Our cab driver recommended this place for seafood and we LOVED it! Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. We had the Seafood Parmigiana, Caprese Salad, Linguini Astice (pictured), and the fried seafood plate. I recommend them all! But if you have to pick just one, I'd say get the Parmigiana. It's an appetizer, so a smaller portion, but can still be shared between two. For dessert the almond semifreddo (pictured) and cannoli. Just remember, they're on Sicilian time so it isn't the kind of place to "dine and dash". Take your time and enjoy. Plan on spending a couple of hours here. But worth it. P.S. They have AC for my American friends.

We had such a lovely dinner here. The service was very friendly, and patient when it took us a while to choose wine. Their recommendation once we finally ordered it was delicious. The food was also lovely with good portion sizes, particularly my busiata pasta all Norma- we were so full, we could only manage to share one dessert between us. The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday evening so I'm glad we booked - they had our reservation from the Fork and applied the discount with no issues. I didn't see inside the restaurant, but the outdoor tables had a lovely atmosphere, and it seemed very popular with locals.

The food and service are simply amazing!! As starters we orderd the (raw) fish delicacies to warm up our tastebuds. As main we shared the lobster spaghetti and you'll get half a lobster in your plate! We finished our night with some soft, sweet and yummy Tiramisu! The first try was so good that we decided to eat again the day after and took some friends with us. This time the waiter recommended the daily dish which was spaghetti with langoustines and black truffles! No words to descibe how delicious it was! All the dishes are musts, especially the lobster spaghetti! The best fish restaurant in Taormina! :D
