We recently visited Una Hotel restaurant as a party of seven. Our evening started off well, with a nice view and a friendly waiter who took our orders. I inquired about a wine tasting menu to complement the tasting menu but was informed that they did not offer one. Three of us opted for the tasting menu.
The issues began when the appetizer and the starter were served to one person simultaneously. Then, the waiter asked if I and another person intended to share the tasting menu, to which I replied that we each wanted our own. Fifteen minutes later, only one of us received the starter while the other two did not. The main courses were then brought out for the entire group, except for those of us with the tasting menu. Five minutes after that, one of us received their first course. We inquired about the remaining starter, which arrived another five minutes later.
When the first course did arrive for two last ome, the pasta was undercooked and tasted dry, leading one of us to request a replacement. After two hours, we still hadn't received our main courses and no one checked if we needed more drinks. Frustrated, we decided to leave. Initially, we were charged for the main courses we never received, but after explaining the situation, we were fortunately not required to pay for them. However, we still had to overpay 60 euros for the starter and undercooked pasta.
Throughout the evening, the waiter never asked if the food was satisfactory or if we needed additional drinks, leaving us without drinks for the last hour. Overall, the service was disappointing, and the experience did not meet our...
Read moreWhen I was sitting here having my dinner, the waitress at this restaurant stared at me with obvious hostility, glaring at me nonstop. Even after walking past my table, she kept turning back to glare. She probably thought I was just playing with my phone, not realizing I had already recorded everything. Please don’t be so rude—this is a civilized society now. I hope you enjoy your job and your life. I’ve truly had enough, which is why I recorded it.
This is my second visit here, and every single time, every single waiter or waitress has been impatient from the very beginning. Everything they do, from taking orders to settling the bill, is done in a rush, with extremely inappropriate behavior. For example, the moment I sit down, they immediately ask me what I want to order. I say “more seconds, thank you,” which in any normal restaurant would mean the waiter comes back in a few minutes. But here, they won’t return for half an hour unless you call them.
Another time, they asked me to pay the bill just as my food arrived. I said I’d pay after finishing my meal. Then, when I had finished eating, I had to call out loudly to a waiter passing right in front of me three times, and he still deliberately ignored me. When it finally came time to pay, he tried to grab my credit card from my hand to swipe it on the POS machine. I have never seen such unprofessional behavior.
All the staff here consistently show discrimination and disrespect. On top of that, the food is terrible, and the menu is...
Read moreOkay, we had such a memorable experience a few days earlier, we rented a car to bring our friends to this restaurant. Paola met us upon arrival and ensured we had the most amazing experience. This time we had lobster blended into perfect pasta. The service provided by Grazia, Nino and Antonio was outstanding.
A Truly Memorable Dining Experience
I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant, thanks to the excellent team and stunning location. The manager, Paola, was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for an exceptional afternoon. Our server, Andrea, was attentive and professional throughout.
I ordered the fresh calamari and prawn pasta—outstanding. The chef prepared the pasta exactly to my liking, and the flavors were spot-on.
To top it all off, the view across the Ionian Sea was absolutely breathtaking. Dining here felt like a perfect blend of delicious food, impeccable service, and a world-class setting. Highly...
