Hops Beerstrò — Restaurant in Trieste

Opening time on Saturdays till 15h. We sit down at open table outdoor at 14:10. Yes, since it's a bistro/bar and not a restaurant and nobody was around, we sat down without asking first. Our mistake. Girl who came out and did service was ignoring us, and after 15min she tells us that "Kitchen is closed, and you shouldn't sit down, its's not your house". We calmly leave, and I just Say to the girl: "Excuse us, but you could be a bit more polite". Got back an angry look and rude answer. I am sorry to say that, but I have never had such unpleasant experience with service in Trieste (and I'm there at least twice a week) and probably not in whole Italy. Hello everyone, we experienced a really delicious diner. After a long travel through Italy, where we couldn’t find any asian restaurant, we were happy to find HOPS as a mixed, fun, diverse restaurant. The waiters were friendly, so we felt comfortable. They even gave us recommendations for Trieste, better than any tourist guide ;) we would highly recommend that place not only for the good food, but also for the experience, the ambience and the traditional liquor they gave us as a present. Scoperto passeggiando con mia figlia. Cercavamo dove andare a mangiare, velocemente, anche se erano quasi le 14:00....Letto il menù esposto fuori, davvero particolari le pietanze, con ricette che spaziano dal Japponese...non voglio dire tutto, dovete provare 🫠 anche piatti vegani....ambiente molto ampio. Tanti posti a sedere sfruttando delle panche imbottite e comode lungo le pareti cosicché ci sono tavolini anche allungabili con tante sedie. Servizi igienici anche per le Mamme e bambini 🥰 ah!!!! Per chi vuole trovare e gustare le Birre ( io non ho bevuto ) mai viste prima....i nomi sono interessanti. Il personale cordialissimo, premuroso, col Sorriso!!!! E si vede ci tengono al loro lavoro!!! Servizio al tavolo eccellente. Ti consigliano le Birre 🤔 forse non sapendo sono conosciuti per queste? Zona Cavana...pedonale a tratti tra Piazza Hortis e piazza Cavana, 10 minuti in Piazza Granda ( Piazza dell'Unità ) 10 minuti dalle Rive...la passeggiata che spazia dall'Istria passando per il nostro mare al Carso sino a Grado se è una Bella giornata. Il Molo Audace...Ritornando al Locale, ancora Grazie!! Ah!! Prezzi contenuti, nonostante la qualità e tutto il resto!!! 🥰🫠tutta la zona ricca di attività, abbigliamento, negozi di antiquariato, vintage, souvenir, bar e gelaterie, parco giochi a pochi passi, per i bambini in Piazza Hortis, in settimana c'è anche un mercatino... non dico altro. Se venite a Trieste in zona ci sono Locali di ogni genere e per tutti i gusti. Grazie...
