Le Bollicine — Restaurant in Trieste

Sometime around 2004 we had dinner at a remote restaurant near Chignin with amazing food and the most abusively behaved waitress. Last night it happened again. The waiter took my order then walked away: excuse me, signore, my son also wishes to eat. He came back...but we only ever got one starter and one main. There was a thunderstorm where the Italians were herded inside and us and a nice Dutch couple were left under the umbrellas...but the storm was not down to the waiter.

I went here with two of my friends and we were really disappointed. The male waitress was so unbelievable unfriendly. He was so rude that wanted to go but we already ordered. He wasn’t wearing a mask due to corona and yelling at other people because their dogs were barking. Despite the bad service, the food was as disappointing as the everything else. It was medium hot and the wine was not worth a penny. Furthermore the area was full of pigeons who flew onto the table and steal your food while eating. Really disgusting.

If you want the worst service, like to have your main course while you are still eating your starter (and your partner will not get theirs for another hour) go here. We had to ask for drinks, twice.... The family who was eating next to us got their food, except for the small kids meal. Apparently it takes 45 minutes to make pasta with a bit of red sauce. This place is also next to a garbage...
