Nice and cozy bakery& café shop. With a minimalist interior design it offers quite wide selection of bakery products that you can take away or enjoy at the place in one of the small tables displaced right on the corner. The quality of food and coffee is high and you can understand it straight after your first bite or sip. Great customer care with a complementary glass bottle of water if you sit. From what I've understood, you can pick up it "still" or "sparkling". It is not industrial water but a filtered one with a proper device. Nice fact is that the counter is connected with the laboratory, so you can actually see somehow the backstage of the bakery. Everything looks clean and tidy.

This charming, slightly hidden local bakery offers high-quality products and, more importantly, specialty coffee that is hard to find elsewhere in the city.

The staff is genuinely friendly, ready to answer your questions, and happy to chat if you want to share your experience.

I highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for a great cup of coffee. During the visit, they had two batches from French roasters, and they frequently change their coffee supplier. They also offer in-house cold brew, which is quite rare in general. Be sure not to miss the coffee, croissants, and focaccia.

P.s. I’m not into the natural wine but they have a decent list (quantity wise, the quality you should check...

Not many things that I personally love more than a good bakery and Pagna definitely reaches a top score on my scale.

The personnel was kind and nice, ready to exchange a laugh.

The bread looked appealing. The baguette we got also tasted super.

Good selection of delicious pizza (the type you can find in a bakery, which is almost like a light soft focaccia).

Last but not least: it was open on a Sunday afternoon, quite a rarity in Trieste. Particularly important for us who were looking for a quick tasty bite the day after our wedding.

A shame that being Saturday afternoon there was not much selection left. I'm looking forward to trying it again during a normal day...
