wow! i never gave a gelato place one star, not in italy anyway. but this place??!!! well, there is always first time for everything. our house is very close to the viale, and we have been stopping by this place (out of all the options on the viale) at least twice a week. we went back because i liked the coconut flavor. the service has always been just ok. but today, it went to whole other level of hell. my husband went in, waited in line, then was told to go back outside and wait for someone to take his order because we got us a seat outside. ok, we waited outside while wondering what was the difference - ah, money! so they could charge more for sitting down to eat their ice cream. ok. so we waited, waited, no one came, and it was melting. i had to get up and go inside again, wait in line and was refused service by the same moon faced bottle bleached blond woman. she asked me if it was take away or sit down. i asked "what is the difference? more charge if we eat it here?" she said "yes". so said "no, we are leaving. we won't be sitting down now or ever again." i also told her that she already refused to take order from my husband, and we waited. she had the balls (or would that be twät??) to tell me "that is not my problem. that is my colleague who takes the orders." anyone who has two brain cells to rub together would have taken our orders and charged whatever she needed (anyone thinks we care about a few € like a typical triestino?!!) nope. that is ok. we won't be bothering...

I had bad experience on service. The blonde guy was serving me and he had rude behavior. Giving dirty looks and mean vibes by throwing the gelato on counter after he is done scooping and asking if i was done while giving that disgusted look one arm on his hip like he is trying to give me attitude. Just like the model pose. And kept saying something in his mouth. I didn’t understand what he was saying. Also put my receipt aggressively after paying. Idk why he acted like this. Maybe because i am asian? I hope not. I really loved the taste of the gelato. But because of the service, i can’t go...

Oggi, come già in passato, purtroppo sono rimasto estremamente deluso dal servizio di questa gelateria. Sono entrato e mi sono fermato davanti al bancone dei gelati per ordinare, però nonostante abbia aspettate là davanti per più di 5 minuti non mi è stato fornito alcun servizio. Ho anche chiesto alla signora che stava lavorando al bar se poteva servirmi, mi ha risposto che sarebbe arrivata, ma è inutile dire che non è stato così. Mi ha lasciato molto deluso il fatto che ci fosse un cameriere che preparava i gelati dietro al bancone, ma solo per chi era accomodato fuori e non poteva perdere 30 secondi di tempo per prepararmi un semplicissimo cono con una pallina. Mentre ero all'interno del locale erano presenti due lavoratori che hanno ben potuto notare la mia presenza, ma hanno comunque preferito ignorarmi. Scrivo una recensione così negativa perché non è la prima volta che mi capita una cosa di questo genere, lo stesso era capitato un paio di anni fa e per questo motivo avevo smesso di frequentare la gelateria, ma oggi speranzoso che le cose fossero cambiate ho provato a rientrarci, purtroppo ho avuto modo di constatare nuovamente l'inefficienza del trattamento dei clienti. È un vero peccato che la clientela venga trattata così, perché il gelato di per sé è anche buono da quanto mi ricordo, potrei anche fare una recensione sulla bontà di questo se solo fossi riuscito a ordinarlo in questa gelateria e non fossi stato costretto ad andare in quella accanto come era già...
