finally we made it .... been wanting to come here for a while, but it was always one thing or another that distracted me! we came tonight and ordered two pizzas to take home. my husband got what he always gets ... salami piccante , i got something unique: mozzarella, with crushed pistachios, fungi, tomato, and burrata cheese. both were amazingly delicious. i took a bite of my husband's pizza, i immediately could tell the ingredients esp salami piccante was of high quality! since he orders the same pizza almost everywhere he goes, we can say this is the best salami pizza we ever got outside Naple region! funny enough, after having come to trieste over 2 years and now living here, i actually have given up on the pizzas in this town - it is just not what i consider good pizza! i told my husband that we would just wait till we go back to sorrento/amalfi coast to eat pizza again! 😆😆😆 now i will get my pizzas from here! we also chatted (in our very broken and limited italian) with the lovely young couple from bologna! the place is spotless clean with simple but chic decor. i feel so lucky to have this neighborhoody place right around the corner...

This is the perfect place for a good pizza - I liked it so much, I went there two nights in a row. The pizza was delicious, great value for money with lots of toppings and flavor! The staff were very friendly and kind. The lady working there is very busy and still took the time to have a lovely conversation with me, which for me as a solo female traveler was very nice and made me feel comfortable right away! Unlike some other pizza places in Trieste, this one did not seem like a tourist trap but like a place where plenty of locals get their pizzas from as well!
