Ristorante Cina Cina — Restaurant in Trieste

Unfortunately, it was an extremely bad, negative, and even dangerous experience!! We arrived at the restaurant hungry, and since many tables were already taken, we assumed it must be a good place and sat down right away (Google reviews also suggested the same). However, that’s when the farce began.

The first appetizer we ordered was extremely greasy, and among other things, we were literally served rice chips, which seemed a bit ridiculous. Still, that wasn’t too terrible in itself.

Then we ordered the rest of the food, emphasizing that the pasta for the children should be prepared only with meat (without vegetables or any other additions, especially eggs due to one child’s allergy).

The first unprofessional thing happened when they served my wife’s dish while the rest of us had to keep waiting. Fine, we thought. Then they brought the kids’ pasta, which clearly had scrambled egg pieces and vegetables in it. We pointed out again that we had ordered it without vegetables and especially without eggs, stressing that our child has an egg allergy and that they must be very careful because it’s dangerous for him. We asked if they could please prepare spaghetti without eggs or anything that had come into contact with them. The waiter assured us it was no problem and would only take a few minutes.

A few minutes later, a waitress came back with the dish and told us it was egg-free — while we could literally see egg pieces in it with our own eyes. THIS IS EXTREMELY IRRESPONSIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND DANGEROUS BEHAVIOR!!

I immediately stood up, told them how dangerous this was, that I didn’t want to eat there, canceled everything that hadn’t yet been served, and asked to pay only for what we had already consumed. The young lady at the cashier was very kind, removed the canceled dishes from the bill, apologized, but that in no way makes up for what happened before — because of which I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

No matter how hungry you are, walk a little further down the street and eat at any other...

VERY BAD, DON’T EAT HERE!!! We ordered 2 happy family, one happy family was for 2 persons. They served our food on the table, and put 2 bowls in front of the 2people sitting left. Two people on the right only got rice.

So I asked, where is our happy family, we also ordered happy family. They said sorry it will be there in 5 minutes.

They had let us pay €93!! They had put 4 happy family on the bill. One is for 2 persons so that would be for 8 persons which they gave us 🤦‍♀️

I want to warn other people, don’t eat here, you get...

The food was okay if a bit oily. The service was unacceptable. We had to wait almost an hour to get our food, but the separate dishes were brought to us one at a time with 10-20 minutes between them.(So we ordered some rice with chicken and the chicken was brought out almost 20 minutes later).
