Bianco Luxury — Restaurant in Trieste

I never saw so many workers and so much chaos . Service virtually non-existent. When we asked to sit at the table, they said we could, but then, actually we couldn't, they wanted to put us at a table outside the garden in the street and when we refused to do so, they found a "special" place inside for us. OK. We waited 15 minutes for the service, and then in the end, we called the waiter ourselves. OK, we ordered, but we were waiting for them to bring drinks. Wine and water were placed on the table, water unopened. We couldn't open it. We waited 10 minutes. One of the waiters finally opened it. OK. Pasta and pizza. It shouldn't take that long. I have no choice but to give this the lowest rating. The service here is shockingly bad. We waited for a table at the entrance as usual - many staff walked past us and nobody acknowledged us. After five minutes we asked, and they said there might be one at the back (by the way, the restaurant was only ¼ full so there were clearly many tables). We went at sat down at one. Nobody came to serve us. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked if we could order to a staff member - he said someone is coming. 20 minutes later nobody came. We realised we were not going to be eating here tonight, and had noticed other customers had waited very long for food (and they had got the order wrong on the table behind us). Don't waste...

The food was quite good, but the service was bad. The lady that served us (besides the fact that she spoke very little English) was practically throwing plates on the table. In general staff seemed angry (except from a very polite guy with glasses who was the only one that spoke English too). The lady serving us brought a dish we hadn’t ordered and insisted it was ours and since no one would take it she just left it on the table in front of someone.
