First time in Trieste I've had a Ramen that actually recall the original tastes of the Chinese authentic recipe. My choice was the sweet&sour beef ramen with some hint of spicy chili. Since we were a table of four persons I could try the tastes of the other dishes as well, like the grilled dumplings, pork cutlet "japanese katsudon style", WonTon soup and the Taiwan beef ramen. All the food is really good, the noodles are freshly handmade by the restaurant. Nice location, staff extremely polite, I give 4 stars only because they did wrong the timings a bit and caused a quite long delay for 2 dishes. This didn't ruin our experience, because the people working there are extremely nice and friendly ( at least the ones that did served us). Definitely the best Chinese/asian food experience that you might have in...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant with a friend, and overall, we had a great experience. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor seating. While the indoor area has a modern and pleasant atmosphere, the outdoor tables are situated right beside the canal, which provides a lovely view.
We ordered ramen, which comes with a choice of two sides from three options(each ~12 euros): yuba, kimchi, and pickled cucumber. My personal favorites were the kimchi and pickled cucumber—both were flavorful and complemented the ramen well. However, the yuba stood out as the most unique of the three. It has a slightly rubbery consistency, but it’s an intriguing texture that isn’t off-putting.
The staff were very friendly, although the food did take a bit longer to arrive than expected. Despite the wait, the overall dining experience...
Read moreAuthentic must try Chinese noodle restaurant in Trieste serving their speciality freshly made noodles and also a selection of rice, dumpling, bun and cold dishes they make themselves.
We tried the pork rib noodle soup and the vegetable mushroom noodle soup which both came with your choice of 2 from 3 possible side dishes - picked cucumber, picked cabbage and cold tofu skin. We also tried the wonton noodle soup which didn’t come with the side dishes, the cold kelp dish and the fan fried buns.
I loved everything!!! The cucumber side dish really deserves its own proper dish as it wasn’t enough! Highly recommend everything on the menu and sharing if possible. If you are ordering for one suggest trying one of the noodle soups as I think they are fantastic...
