DOA — Restaurant in Tropea

We recently had the pleasure of dining at this spot, and it was a great experience! The lobster carbonara was rich and creamy, while the seared amberjack was perfectly cooked—flaky on the inside with a nice crisp on the outside. We also tried the Fileja with salsa di pomodoro and salted ricotta, and the flavors were well-balanced.

The food was delicious, and the variety of drinks was impressive. We tried the Mexican mood cocktail, and it was refreshing and full of flavor. For dessert, we had the Tartufi artigianali, which was a delightful end to the meal.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the modern decor with a beach vibe really set the tone for a relaxing meal....

Read the reviews and it sounded great, however we normally are careful with anything under 100 views. But reading it was relatively new at the time we had to trust. Very nice outdoor area with stylish tableware. Restaurant was busy with some tables reserved but we were able to get a table for three around 8pm before it filled up entirely. We ordered a pizza and local speciality salad and pasta. All was excellent, from food to service. A fantastic meal overall. If each group eating did a review each night they would have many....

Het eten had niet het niveau van hetgeen het restaurant als niveau wil uitstralen. De muziek stond zo luidt, het was net een discotheek. We konden met moeite praten tegen elkaar. We vroegen focaccia als aperitiefhapje. Dit werd samen geserveerd met het hoofdgerecht. 4 pizza's (die lekker waren). En in de midden stond de focaccia als hapje. Focaccia was een zeer fijne pizzabodem met wat kruiden op. Smaakloos. Dit is geen focaccia. De Rosé was allesbehalve lekker, zure smaak. De hoeveelheid rosé was minimaal afgemeten. We werden ontvangen door een vriendelijke ober die ons naar onze plek begeleide. Daarna werd de bestelling opgenomen door een 'hautaine' dame. Ze deed uit de hoogte en was helemaal niet vriendelijk. Wat ons opviel was dat er veel werknemers aanwezig waren, waarvan de helft niks deed. We hadden vooral het gevoel dat het een fabriekje was. Kwantiteit primeert op kwaliteit. Op 45 minuten waren we binnen geweest en stonden we terug buiten. Als toeristen wil je op je gemak gaan eten. Je wil niet het gevoel hebben dat alles rap rap moet gaan. Er is hier nog veel werk aan de winkel Qua organisatie. Qua interieur heeft het restaurant alles met zich mee om het te maken, het is mooi...
