This place belongs to a chain of authentic Neapolitan pizzerias, with spectacular pizzas and other typical meals of the Neapolitan tradition. I especially recommend the fried pizzas (the so-called "montanara"), the mix of little fried things ("cuoppo fritto" very typical of Naples, which can be based on fish or on vegetables and pasta, where all is definitely fried), and their excellent desserts. Ci sono andata molte volte perché trovavo la pizza davvero buona. Ultimamente sono rimasta delusa sia dalla pizza che dal servizio.

Da Pecchia è una pizzeria che si trova dietro Piazza Solferino. Ci andavo spesso con il mio ragazzo ed andavamo senza prenotare.

Infatti il locale apre alle 19 e solitamente per quest'ora non si trovano tante persone quindi si sta tranquilli o si dovrebbe. Dico così perché se non ci trovi le persone ci trovi i camerieri (tanti) che si mettono a girare intorno al tuo tavolo e sembra vogliano metterti fretta nel mangiare. Passano, guardano a che punto sei e se non passano ti guardano da lontano. Forse per liberare il tavolo prima?

Quindi ordiniamo le pizze che arrivano dopo pochi minuti. Prima erano ottime, ultimamente mediocri. Non capisco se è per il fatto che siano le prime ad essere infornate, il fondo del forno è sporco e di conseguenza rimane anche sporca la parte sotto della pizza che viene servita. Non è una bella sensazione al palato. Pezzi di impasto bruciati. Peccato anche perchè gli ingredienti sopra sono buoni! Una volta finita la pizza, ancora con l'ultimo boccone in bocca in fase di masticazione, arriva una cameriera che ti toglie il piatto e ti chiede se vuoi il dolce. Come faccio a rispondere se sto ancora mangiando?
