La Ville — Restaurant in Turin

The toilets were good looking, clean and good smelling. I then thought that would be a good indicator for a great restaurant. My wife ordered Vitello Tonnato as a starter and Pasta Carbonara as a main. My child ordered Frittura Mista and for me it was veal belly “slow cooked”. The first Fauxpas was to bring the starter of my wife with the mains of my daughter and me. The Frittura was great. The veal was almost cold, and dry and hard as leather. 20 minutes and none of the staff was here to ask anything. My wife wanted her main, we waited and waited. I then shouted so a waitress would come, we asked for the bill. I told that my food was hard as leather and she only asked if we want coffee or a desert. We declined, we just wanted to go. She took our dishes and went inside. Few seconds later the missing Pasta was brought. So they waited for us to shout or to ask for the bill? The pasta must have waited cause it was also almost cold. My wife tried but wouldn’t eat it.

We paid 81 Euro and left hungry and...

We stumbled upon this place after walking around for a while looking for a place to eat and were pleasantly surprised. The waitstaff were very kind and efficient. They were helpful and were able to answer all our questions in English. We were seated in the basement which was warm and cozy (nice lighting) which made for an intimate setting for a nice meal. The pizza was delicious, made with quality ingredients. The wine was also great and they had lots of choices to choose from. Get the tirimisu for dessert (which is so good) as I had something else and was a bit disappointed...

Io e mia moglie ci siamo recati in questo ristorante portati da amici.Seduti al tavolo ordiniamo e mi raccomando con la cameriera di prestare massima attenzione al fatto che mia moglie ha una grave allergia al pomodoro che può portarla a shock anafilattico e che quindi le sue portate assolutamente ne siano prive in maniera più assoluta.All’arrivo degli antipasti iniziamo a cenare e dopo qualche secondo vedo mia moglie sbiancare e dirmi che ha un forte bruciore alla gola,guardiamo il suo piatto e sorpresa:era stato guarnito con una spolverata di pomodoro in polvere!! Chiamiamo immediatamente la cameriera che ripresa per l’accaduto farfuglia che l’allergia era stata segnalata sulla comanda vicino al primo piatto ordinato da mia moglie e che quindi il pomodoro presente sull’antipasto non era problema suo! Alla discussione interviene il titolare che messo al corrente dell’accaduto sorride sarcasticamente e fa spallucce come per minimizzare e torna dentro il locale.Mia moglie spaventatissima ha dovuto immediatamente assumere un cortisonico,non ha chiaramente più consumato ne quella portata ne il primo arrivato a seguire.Terminata la serata mi reco in cassa ed il titolare senza chiedere nulla ne tantomeno scusarsi per l’accaduto ha fatto pagare per intero il conto e quindi anche le portate non consumate e ci ha salutati come nulla fosse successo.Conclusione: personale scadente e disattento,il titolare assolutamente privo di professionalità ed attenzione verso la clientela.Una stella perchè zero non é accettato.Sicuramente non ci tornerem...
