Dessì — Restaurant in Turin

Premessa, sapevo che questa pizzeria fosse famosa per farinata e pizza al tegamino. Mesi fa presi la farinata, mangiata subito fuori dal locale. Rimasi delusa, era un po' secca, non molto buona, ma non feci recensione, pensando "può succedere".

Ora recensisco in virtù dello spiacevole trattamento di due settimane fa. Sono andata a prendere una pizza al tegamino d'asporto. Ho preso marinara con aggiunta di funghi. Da menù Marinara 3,50, e le aggiunte 1 euro l'una. Quindi 4,50 euro. Vado alla cassa e mi vengono chiesti 5.50 euro. Chiedo come mai visto i conti di cui sopra e il titolare(credo) mi dice "è una pizza ai funghi" (che da menù costa 5.50 euro). Rispondo che non ho ordinato una pizza ai funghi ma una marinara con aggiunta, anche perchè la pizza ai funghi ha la mozzarella che non posso mangiare e non deve esserci. Mi dice che l'ha fatta senza mozzarella ma sono sempre 5.50 euro. Poffarbacco c'è qualcosa che non cosa! Del tipo "il locale è mio e ti faccio i prezzi che voglio anche se ti sto ladrando rispetto al menù esposto".

Avrei potuto insistere, ma per 1 euro non ho avuto voglia. Mi stupisce che il gestore/titolare di un locale, pur sbagliando o provandoci, non torni sui suoi passi quando il cliente gli fa notare l'errore. Per un euro (rubato) si è perso clienti e guadagnato una recensione negativa.

Aggiungo che nemmeno la pizza al tegamino era degna della nomea che ha e che sia io che il mio compagno l'abbiamo risentita tutta la notte. Mangiandone metà a testa. Motivo sufficiente per non tornarci a prescindere dalla presa in giro sul conto.

Siamo nel 2021 e di locali è piena Torino, di ottima qualità e innovazione. Pronti ad andare incontro alle esigenze dei clienti. Un po' di umiltà non guasterebbe a maggior ragione che sul mercato c'è...

The best pizzeria in Turin. I have been coming to this place for years and have never been disappointed. Even if I am just pasding through I stop by for some of the best pizza in North Italy. The speed of service is great and staff are very friendly. Please note - no booking facility available and getting a seat can ba a challenge as is often very busy but on average / normally only a 15 minute wait. The food is to die for. You must try the faranata at Dessi's it is the best in Torino!!!! Really good price and great for families and nights out...

Tried this place on a friend's suggestion and I was delighted by the flavours and the quality. The pizza al tegamino was perfectly cooked with the right amount of crunch and very tasty ingredients. The farinata I still can't believe how good it was. Having tried many of the tegamino/padellino style pizzas in Turin and as many farinatas, I can easily say that this is the best I've tried so far.
