I came in here as a solo diner. I was placed at a table in the back away from the buzz, but that’s fair enough.
The starter was an agnolotti dish that was really very nice. However the next dish - lamb chops with a bernaise sauce and fried potatoes - wasn’t great. The chops were quite nice. But the bernaise was cold (clearly pre-made and badly reheated) and crucially had split. Meanwhile the potatoes were undercooked.

Siamo stati all’Osteria Goja per festeggiare il compleanno di mia moglie Flavia, e non avremmo potuto fare scelta migliore. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: attento, cordiale e mai invadente.
La location è davvero suggestiva e fuori dal comune, con un arredamento curato nei dettagli e arricchito da quadri che raffigurano titoli di film del passato e stampe storiche particolari. Un ambiente confortevole e rilassante, ideale per una serata speciale.
Il menù si è rivelato interessante e ben studiato. Abbiamo iniziato con due antipasti eccellenti: un vitello tonnato delizioso e un polpo scottato con patata schiacciata e olive taggiasche, tenero e saporito.
Come portate principali, mia moglie ha scelto un primo piatto di pasta molto buono, mentre io ho gustato un rombo con patate novelle e olive taggiasche, cotto alla perfezione.
Abbiamo accompagnato il pasto con un ottimo Ruché, perfettamente in linea con i sapori della cena.
A chiudere la serata, i dessert hanno confermato l’alto livello della cucina e hanno reso il compleanno di Flavia ancora più memorabile.
