An amazing, cozy, and humble osteria with food worth more that the price. We were two and we spent just 43 euro for a dinner with aperitivo, primo, and secondo. We were looking for piemontese spetiality and this local place was wonderful for that. The staff is so nice and the sir interpreted all the Italian menu into English for us. The service quality of a high quality restaurant, they were always checking if you have finished the dish or the bread, so they can offer you the next dish or a new basket of bread. Whenever my partner and I are in the mood for some good, homemade Piedmont cuisine, we come here. The staff is always so easy going and welcoming. We never forget to order the vitello tonnato or insalata russa, which are delicious. Normally, we have a mixed appetizer plate with a glass of Nebbiolo, followed by another plate that varies. Locale molto rustico e a tratti un po' buio però tutto sommato bellino. Personale molto gentile specialmente il proprietario e la cameriera più giovane che ha chiesto spesso se le cose andassero bene e se fosse tutto a posto portandoci il pane quando vedeva che lo avevamo finito essendo quindi nel complesso molto presente e disponibile. Abbiamo ordinato da mangiare gli antipasti misti da dividere lo stinco con patate degli agnolotti e della tartarre mentre da bere abbiamo preso del vino sfuso della casa con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo stinco porzione molto abbondante ed anche molto buono di gusto e con un prezzo davvero ottimo. Gli antipasti erano buoni nel complesso soltanto che alcune pietanze all'interno erano molto piccoline fatte per essere un sol boccone e probabilmente per degli antipasti misti che in genere uno divide erano po' pochino. Per gli agnolotti la porzione era giusta ma non li ho assaggiati mentre la tartarre porzione giusta per il prezzo ed abbastanza buona. Per dolce io ho preso il vin santo coi cantucci che era molto buono e prezzo onesto. Gli amari invece non il massimo perchè quelli non classici che abbiamo preso erano estremamente dolci e non molto godibili con un prezzo anche giusto anche se onestamente dopo 30 euro a testa spesi non sarebbe stato male se ce li avessero offerti e sicuramente in quel caso non avrei avuto da lamentarmi.
