A MUST try if you are in the city of Torino looking for an authentic experience and meal!
Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. You cannot go wrong by dining at this fine establishment.
The service we received was absolutely impeccable, we were seated quickly, despite not having a reservation, so long as we would wrap up around 9, as they had other guests with reservations for that time. Our server was absolutely fantastic, full of energy and clearly had a passion for hosting. Greeting and interacting with all guests equal, with respect and passion. He explained and recommended some great dishes as well as wine to pair. The food was top quality and the overall ambiance of the restaurant was great. Even after having finished our meal and dessert, our server even offered a complimentary digestif, even though it would have pushed our stay past 9! We respectfully declined, so we could be courteous to the other guests that had reserved the table. Although we did appreciate the touch of class from the waiter.

Read moreWhat a great place. We ate there on rec of a friend. And we're so impressed that we csncelled our plans at some Michelin star place to eat there again the next nite. A terrific collection of Piedmont specialties very well prepared. It was porcini season so there was a special set of mushroom entrees. These were the best things we had n likely not always on the menu but everything else was great too..especially the primi. The house wine is an excellent dolcetto. Unless you are a big wine connoisseur I would just go with a carafe of that as it was great. The owner is a "big personality," but that becomes endearing. He and one main assistant who is very very nice albeit quieter staff the entire place...but efficiently. One small issue. The front room has a large table for 12+. It was filled with large parties both nites which could be "lively"...so if looking for a more quiet evening be sure to request...
Read moreThis might have been one of my favorite Italian meals of all time. The photos don’t do it justice.
First off, I had the mind blowing arugula salad. Never have I ever had cut arugula, for some reason this changed my life in more ways than one.
For the pastas, the three of us shared three different pastas. I ordered the daily special which was a mushroom, and then we have the ravioli two different ways. To top it all off we had the tiramisu for dessert.
The waiter was so nice and friendly, also super funny. He was entertaining all of the guests with his bravado voice and welcome speech. I thoroughly enjoyed his energy as a waiter.
The pastas were so fresh, and SO GOOD. If I didn’t have food coma from the gluten I would have ordered a fourth one. Not to be missed !! Truly a gem and super...
