Caprizza Torino — Restaurant in Turin

We came here at 21.30. They took our orders at 22.15. They only brought the drinks on 22.45. It’s 23.30 right now as I’m writing this and I still don’t have my pizza. When I wave at the waiter he waves back at me and smiles. Worst restaurant in Turin don’t even bother coming here. We came here for our friends birthday and we regret that we even organized this thing. They are even too lazy to bring forks and knives and didn’t bother to take the menus back. I had to remind them of my order while I was writing this they said it will be ready in 5 minutes and they finally brought it 15 minutes later. At last I was able to eat my food 2 and a half hours after sitting down while all my friends already finished theirs. They brought free dessert for compensation but it was probably made a week ago and tasteless also I couldn’t even eat it because they took my fork. First of all, I need to say that the responsible man was extremely friendly and the place had a good vibe. However, unfortunately, they made a mistake. When I ordered, I said that I prefer vegan food and if you can please make the pizza without any cheese, if not, I will order something else. (because I had ordered like this in another places) He said, ok I will bring you vegan pizza. Then they brought me a pizza with a lot of cheese and some kind of fish also separately that I was supposed to eat together! After bringing, he said: "We can't remove the cheese, otherwise it's not a pizza anymore." Well, you needed to say this before my ordering 🙃

It seems Italian, do not have any idea what vegetarian and vegan foods are!

For now, I rate this place 2 stars out of 5 till when they bring some vegetarian and vegan alternatives and specify them...

Caprizza è un abbraccio campano che per una serata ti immerge in sapori e simpatia pur rimanendo nella bellissima Torino. LOCATION: curata, bella, solare. Pareti decorate con piastrelle di ceramica tipiche capresi. Tavoli disposti ordinati, banco e forno pizza a vista. Una sala grande e accogliente come la seconda al piano inferiore. Fuori tavoli coperti da gazebo grandi e stabili alla base e riscaldati. PERSONALE: Allegria!! ERMANNO in prima fila tra simpatia e professionalità. Educati, disponibili e mai volgari anche nei momenti gioisi di battute tra i tavoli. Sanno consigliarti senza invadenza. All'arrivo si viene accolti con un caldissimo cuppo napoletano di zeppoline e un fresco prosecco. MENÙ: Ricco ma contenuto. Semplice senza farti perdere in mille piatti che fanno confusione. Terra e mare, primi e secondi, friggitoria e pizze...stop. PIZZE E FRIGGITORIA: Eh...e cosa vuoi dire? TOP! Friggitoria calda, croccante e leggera senza olio in eccesso! Montanarina soffice e basilico fresco. Le pizze sono dal bordo alto e soffice, una nuvola, guarnite con prodotti ricercati e di buona qualità. Fior di latte e bufala a cascata, pomodoro fresco. Sapori e odori che difficilmente si possono ritrovare in altre pizzerie locali. PREZZI: in linea con la concorrenza di medio-alto livello. Caprizza, a mio parere, è un locale ricercato che offre un prodotto di alto livello nella ristorazione, il che ne consegue un linea prezzi che giustificano il prodotto di qualità. Se si vuole pagare una margherita 5 euro non è questo il posto adatto, per quello è meglio andare dal egiziano a piazza Bengasi o Porta Palazzo. Da Caprizza vivi un'esperienza di gusti e odori particolari...contornati da semplice allegria e sorrisi. PRENOTAZIONE: a mio parere oltre le 4 persone necessario, considerando il locale sempre pieno.
