I asked our hotel to book a cute honeymoon date night dinner spot with local cuisine for myself and my husband and they booked us Mille….
And boy I am so glad they did!! From start to finish we had a fantastic experience. The service was superb and the food was excellent. They even made my husband pasta e fagioli (which I didn’t even see on the menu) and myself a decaf espresso martini (definitely was not on the menu) upon request which was above and beyond and both were delicious. We also ordered the veal starter, gnocchi Verdi, ravioli, and tiramisu and it was all excellent. Even the bread they gave on the table was great!!
What really blew us away was that on top of the starter and the mains that we ordered, throughout the meal they also gave us tastes of other items such as champagne, moscato, and little hors d'oeuvre type of bites.
We also really felt that the price was totally worth the quality of service and the food we ate. We had dinner at another local spot (which will remain unnamed because it was by no means bad) that was around the same price but felt that Mille was better in food quality and amount, and service all around.
If you’re in Turin and you’re looking for a local cuisine that is elevated but not overly stuffy and is still very nice, or looking for a great date night spot, or even looking for a nice dinner out with friends, I’d 10/10 recommend coming here!!
I will definitely come back here the next time...
Read moreWe had a superb dinner at Mille Restaurant. Everything was perfect. Excellent wine list. We began with an aperitif, then a 2020 Barbaresco. Food: the tuna tartare was fresh (and surprisingly, there was a lot of it). The vegetable soup was equally delicious. We ordered pasta with seafood. The spaghettone with vongole (clams) had lots of flavour; the home-made tagliolini with cuttlefish and saffron was exquisite. For dessert, the semifreddo is a must - and it came with dessert wine, too. The price of dinner is reasonable, considering the excellent food, wine and service. We will come back to Mille the next time we’re in Torino.
Quiet, elegant dining room.
