Osteria Vanchiglia — Restaurant in Turin

It is just my second restaurant experience in Italy and there are a few things to be improved. First I'd recommend for the owners to invest on an English menu aswell as a better cook, the reason for that is I was told by the person I went there with, the meatball was cold on the inside, which is unacceptable... Overall it's overpriced for the quality of the food...

Without a doubt the best pasta and food I had while visiting Italy. The pasta noodles were incredibly fresh and the sauces were to die for - super flavorful! The portions are also pretty big, which was a welcome surprise for us. Seems family-owned and run and the atmosphere reflects that. Absolute must try...

Inizia così la nostra avventura in Osteria Vanchiglia, a quel punto eravamo pronti a tutto, avevamo già capito dove eravamo entrati 😍 Ed eccolo arrivare con tre bottiglie di vino rosso, naturalmente ho trovato il suo benvenuto meraviglioso!

Si ma come si mangia? Hai presente quando ti cucinava la nonna? Quei piatti che col cavolo i tuoi genitori riuscivano a replicare, ecco io mi sono sentito a casa di nonna, tutto molto easy senza fronzoli e presentazioni estreme che alla fine, stringi stringi, “si ok ma costa sto mangiando?” Antipasti top, una pentola enorme di pasta al ragù, anzi no RAGÙ ALLA PASTA, secondo, dolce e ammazza caffè da collezione.
