Pepe — Restaurant in Turin

Communication Problems... It ended up being like a scene from the classic BBC program Fawlty Towers. We were seated outdoors. The tables were a bit dirty and there were no menus anywhere. One waitress took our order and another waitress arrived with the drinks... 14 euros for a mediocre beer and an Aperol spritz. We complained- for that price where is the food? We stated in English and Italian that we just want the drinks. Then 5 minutes later the boy arrived with the food that we immediately sent back. Finally waitress number 2 returned with 2 euros change (the aperitivo price difference). They don't care as most of their clients on Sunday afternoon appeared to be young 20 somethings spending mommy & daddy's money for an...

Great place but the service was really bad. We waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order. Some waiters are nice but we had this one waitress who was pretty rude to us. When we got there we didn’t know where to sit so we just sat down on a table waiting for someone to take our orders. 10 mins later a waitress comes and says we can’t sit there and just walks away. We then didn’t know where to sit Since the lady didn’t even tell us where we could so we just moved to another table. We then waited another 10 mins for someone to take our order but no one came so we asked the waitress if she could. She then kinda ignores us and just says wait. She then came 10 mins later. But yeah other than that the place is nice and the food...

Siamo arrivate per le 18 in questo locale che dicono essere il bar cool di torino ma sembra di arrivare alla pensione Mariuccia di Pino al Mare. Siamo entrati e ci ha accolto un signore sulla 50ina, credo fosse il gestore, tutto sudato come avesse corso una maratone, tutto questo nonostante fosse novembre. Ci sediamo e chiediamo 2 toast e due caffè e veniamo rimproverati dalla cameriera perché non abbiamo ordinato abbastanza, il tutto mediante una frase singolare: “solo questo?” con tono molto arrogante. Noi da persone educate facciamo finta di nulla e al momento dell’arrivo dell’ ordine notiamo che era tutto sbagliato. Ci sentiamo quasi in difetto a dirlo alla cameriera per paura di essere mangiati o messi in punizione. Abbiamo resistito come fossimo ad una corsa campestre, neanche il tempo di finire che la cameriera ci ha chiesto di alzarci perché avevamo finito come se fossero sempre pieni anche se le uniche persone che c’erano eravamo noi e due anziani che giocavano a carte. prima di andare via sono andata un bagno e non sapevo di essere in compagnia degli scarafaggi, probabilmente stavano dando un pigiama party o un festino. vado in cassa e mi chiedono per un caffè 5€ anche se suo menu costava 1,5€. si giustificano dicendo che è l’ora dell’aperitivo, io avendo paura di essere rapita pago ma ancora oggi mi chiedo se i prezzi li facciano con la sfera di cristallo di maga Merlu. Unica nota positiva è che assumono camerieri Extracomunitari e questo aiuterà molto il nostro paese, unica cosa è che nn parlano bene l’italiano, sarà per questo che il nostro ordine...
