The place has a gorgeous atmosphere, very low lit light and beautiful old decor. I came about an hour early before my booking to see if I was able to get in. Owner Giacomo welcomed me and said no problem and took me to a table immediately.
Looking at the menu I had no idea what to order as everything looked so good. Giacomo said don’t worry let me surprise you with the apeitiser. It came with 4 selection of piedimontese food and they were AMAZING. Veal with tuna sauce on top, pastry with mushroom and cream sauce, beef tartar with crunchy parmesan and some sort of bread pate. I had the angolotti with gravy for secondi as I’ve been dying to try. It was cooked to perfection although just a tad too salty for my taste. Our last meal before leaving Italy and what can I say this has not disappoint us at all. Found this little gem on Google map review and though we’ll give it a go. If you like art , This place is very interesting! Many painting on the wall and deco, looks more like someone living room then a restaurant.
As you inspected from what the place look like, the food itself taste like great home made comfort food with a touch of Michelin star presentation. Has really knock our socks off, absolutely great 👍
