Well I just wanna answer you, Dear Maurizio,
Your response only confirms exactly what I wrote in my review â instead of addressing a customer with respect, you chose arrogance, personal insults, and excuses. This attitude is the reason so many visitors leave Italy disappointed, despite its beauty.
Let me remind you: your country depends heavily on tourism. Without the money that visitors like myself and millions of others bring, businesses like yours would not survive. Yet, instead of showing gratitude, you attack your guests.
The reality is simple: Italians have created a culture of laziness â working a few hours a day, taking long breaks, and then compensating by inventing fraudulent charges such as coperto and surcharges. Call them what you like, but they are tricks to squeeze more money out of customers instead of offering honest pricing.
Be transparent: if your pizza costs âŹ10, and you say itâs âexclusive,â then raise the menu price to âŹ12 or âŹ13. Customers prefer clarity. At home, the same pizza can be made for âŹ3 â so the âŹ7 difference already covers your rent, service, and location. But adding hidden charges after the fact is dishonest.
You call yourself hospitable, yet you insult the very people who keep your business alive. Hospitality is not just about serving food â it is about respect, fairness, and honesty. If you want a lesson on how to run a business with dignity and customer loyalty, Iâd be glad...

We were with 4 people and they didn't allow us a table because they argued that they want to keep a normal 4 people table available for 5 people or maybe squeezing it to 6. 2 days ago they allowed a 4 person group on the same table after they probably gave up hope for 5 people during the evening. This restaurant likes to maximize seatings instead of servicing and welcoming guests. Don't go here if you like to be serviced as a guest. You are not important to them even if you are a returning customer and you tipped...
Read moreHalf of the restaurant was empty and when we selected empty table for 4 people in the shadow the waiter pushed us to change the table to smaller one for 2 people in the sun. Without a reason. We were two adults and 2 year Old baby. Seriously??? He wanted to give us a chair for the baby but we wanted to stay in the trolley but there was no space for that.. We had to leave.. :( 10 minutes later we were passing by and the 4-person table was still empty.. And we spotted another family who was sitting there at the beginning, they were leaving without food... Somethings...
