Sultan — Restaurant in Varese

I can't recommend this place enough! The food we've had twice now here was always incredibly fresh and wonderfully appealing to the senses. Whether you like meat or veggies, Sultan has something for all tastes. We've personally enjoyed beef and a chicken shaworma box. Every single ingredient was top-notch quality and, most importantly, showed creativity and know-how. This is quickly becoming a favourite of ours. As for the baklawa, don't get me started... I've always loved baklawa, but this has got to be the absolute best I've ever had - and, let me tell you, I've had some in my day... This was a little crunchy mouthful bursting with flavour, full of nuts and a soupçon of rose water... In case you're worried about the extreme sweetness that usually accompanies this dessert, fret not. This was perfectly balance to let the other flavours shine through. Love love love! If you love eating food this is a must go. I am generally a meat eater and have never really liked any vegetarian/vegan dishes. This falafel wrap was my first experience of genuinely enjoying vegan food. The wrap alone is fantastically crunchy and satisfying to bite in, the falafel is unlike any other i have ever had and truly truly delicious. If this weren't good enough already, the blend of ingredients inside the wrap pull everything together in a masterful way. I have been to many (if not all) street food shops in the centre of varese over the years, but this one easily takes the cake....

A delightful takeaway and a wonderful surprise for Varese! Bravo to the owners for bringing a new type of cuisine to Varese. The falafels were freshly made, the salad wonderful with a touch of mint and the hoummus perfectly smooth with the right touch of lemon.

The baba ganoush put me in taste heaven as the creamy and smoky aubergine exploded on the taste buds.

Care has also been taken to make sure that they only use paper or biodegradable plastic.
