We spent the Redentore at this small 'cicchetteria' in the vibrant and pittoresque Via Garibaldi. Autenthic Venetian cuisine at its best. We had 2 starters, 1 with 3 fish tartare and 1 with warm fish, 2 mains, a creamy seafood lasagna, a sea bream fillet and vegetable, and as dessert a delicious chocolate cake. I had the codfish, octopus and sardines - all by recommendation by the owner/staff. I had some white wine, which was recommended as well - whose name I don't remember. Just the food alone is definitely worth the visit and in my opinion hard or impossible to do better. Additionally the owner/staff was incredibly friendly and well versed in English, although I'm sure that even without it they would've managed to give good recommendations. This nice bar is located in a very picturesque street close to Giardini Biennale! It is an amazing place with local delicacies, special Spritz and very good pizza(focaccia style)! We tried the pizza with mortadella ham, pistachio, buffalo mozzarella, fresh tomato sauce and it was very tasty!
