Bar Melograno — Restaurant in Venice

My worst experience um Venice The garçons who are attending us are super rude. Except for one men who is really nice. They asked us if we wanted to eat the ice cream on their tables or if we wanted to eat in on the way. We said we wanted it on the tables because in all the times we've eaten ice cream or drinked coffee on a tablet we've never paid more for it. The total writen on the place we asked for it was 7,00€. On the table they asked us for 12,50€. I asked how it was possible and the men ( the super rude one) told me that was the price for sitting. How can I pay almost as much as the price as the ice creams just to sit???? Plus.... They didnt told us that we were going to pay more for sitting . I paid 6,25 for each ice cream with two balls. Not normal. I really dont recomend it. Not for the price and not for the people who are...

I don't like to leave bad reviews because I know everyone's just trying to make a living but please learn from our mistake and don't ruin your trip to Venice by eating at this restaurant. The food was not good. This is not the "Italian" food you're looking for!!!! We have a really terrible fast food "Italian" restaurant chain in the United States called "Fazoli's" and it has better food than what these guys served us. Just go to one of the nicer places, pay more money if you have to and actually enjoy the food, because...

It was about 4 in the afternoon when I bought a gelato there and sat down at a table under the canopy to eat it. I was told that I could not sit there and was chased out into the rain to eat despite all other tables except one being empty and they were drinking Expresso. Why can you sit down to eat an Expresso but not a gelato. I can understand needing the table during peak lunch or dinner hours but the place was empty and I was a paying customer.
