What truly made our visit memorable was the impeccable service, especially from Julia and Davide, who went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. We didn’t have any cash on us, and just when we thought we’d have to leave without tasting anything, Julia re-opened the card payment terminal just for us — even though they were already preparing to close. That small act of generosity meant so much, and it spoke volumes about the kind of customer care this shop values.

What a fantastic gelato stop, made even more memorable by meeting the wonderful David and Julia. David, a true Venetian with a big heart, surprised us by singing The Flower of Scotland — a beautiful nod to his love of rugby and a touching moment for us as Scots!

Both David and Julia were incredibly warm and welcoming. Their gelato selection is something else — full of unique and creative flavours. I ended up choosing the pear and dark chocolate, a combination I’d never tried before and absolutely loved. They kindly offered tasters to help me decide, and while that flavour stood out, the pistachio was also on another level.
