I wish I had read the reviews before booking this place. |I reserved and prepaid a room with 2 double beds but on arrival we found out that our room had been sold to someone else and we were given probably the claustrophobic room the other guests are talking about: room 128, at the end of the hall on the third floor, probably the worst room they have, for sure the further.|As others pointed out, the room is so small that you cannot even open part of the wardrobe since there's not enough space. |The bathroom was equally small, with no windows and without even a bidet. |On top of that, the room smelled really bed and we were advised not to open the window (!) for not letting mosquitos in (in November with 5 degrees outside? No wonder it smelled awful).|The heating was off the entire time even though they said it was centralized and they had forgotten to put additional blankets in the wardrobe, so that when we arrived late at night we had no option than spend a cold, miserable night.|On the following day, they apologized with lots of excuses (heating was off because of the previous customer, the cleaning lady had forgotten to put the blankets, the room WITH 2 DOUBLE BEDS CLEARLY SPECIFIED in the reservation was not guaranteed and it was our fault for not claiming it (???) and so on, |I asked for a partial refund for all the hassle, but they kept denying any compensation, even accusing us of complaining in order to have their buffet breakfast included when I said to the agency that not even coffee was offered to apologize for our nightmare stay ( I'd like to mention that I'm among the few that never eat anything at breakfast, just to make clear how dishonest are these people).|The only positive note is that the agency apologized for our terrible experience and granted us a small refund, recognizing that the terms of the contract haven't...

Amenities - This hotel offered no amenities really. There is a free breakfast, which offers very little, but standard for Italy. There is a safe in the room, that is more confusing that many other safes. A cat also roams the halls, which is kind of cool. Air conditioning was also broken in the room which was a problem.

Cleanliness - While I wouldn't say this hotel is necessarily dirty, it doesn't feel overly clean either. It is very run down, and feels that way in its upkeep. There is a musty smell to the room, which you will get used to, but shouldn't have to. Overall, this area could use improvement.

Service - The service here was extremely underwhelming as a whole. Everyone felt as if you were bothering them, from check in to check out. Very unfriendly! When we told them about the air conditioner being broken, they seemed as if they could care less, until we pressed the issue, and they reluctantly called someone. Again with the confusing safe, we had to have someone open it for us, and we received a sigh as the housekeeper went to open the safe for us. It seems as if they all hate their job.

Overall, this hotel is in a very convenient location to be able to get around Venice, but is not an ideal hotel. If it's very cheap, maybe give it a try. If something else is just a bit more spring for it, because it may be cleaner and you may feel more welcomed. Overall, this is a hotel...

I loved the location. It was on a quieter streer with less traffic. We could leave the window open at night. 5min to the water and 5min to San Marco. Upon arrival we walked from the train station. It was 45min and I wouldn't recommend it unless you have small luggage. Otherwise you can take a 30min water taxi for 9.40euro per person to San Zaccaria. Taxi 5.2 only has 3 stops. There is a much longer one. Then it is a 5 minute walk.

Our hotel room was very tiny. My husband had to duck his head to enter the room. It was dark with a small window and low ceilings. I would upgrade if I stayed here again.

I'm sure it was the smallest room in the hotel. There would not be enough room for large luggage. The bed was two singles pushed together. They both slant to one side. The fan/air conditioner was great. There was a small wardrobe and a small desk with a TV on it. The sink in the bathroom had a small leak and the toilet seat was broken. There was housekeeping service daily if you want. They have a breakfast that is 10euro per person. We did it on our travel day for convenience but you can find cheaper things just outside the hotel.

Paying for location here. I had a hard time finding anything and ended up here with Chase points. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again for the location but pay for...

It's a long walk from the train station (or you can take a boat) but honestly Venice is all about walking. The staff is really nice (Shout out to Asad, who was so helpful!) Bathrooms were very clean and sanitatized, towels, reusable cups, body and hair wash, all stocked up. You are not allowed to open the windows as the mosquitoes are deadly, however they have provided both = heater and air conditioning! So it is perfect. Very centrally located property with bars, grocery stores, souvenir shops and pizza parlours all around. Amazing for the price. I would 100% recommend staying there. Ps. The ceilings in the room are a little low so if you're anything above 6.2, you gotta take note. Also very safe, couple friendly, female staff, area around is safe. This is a great choice for budget travellers.
