GRILL IT HALAL RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Venice

I visited this wonderful restaurant three times during my journey to Slovenia and back, and I cannot recommend it enough! Conveniently located near the station, it became the perfect spot for a meal before catching our train.

The variety of food is fantastic, catering to different tastes and preferences, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating.

They have a dedicated prayer room and facilities for making wudu, which was such a relief during our long journey.

On our way back to Milan, we arrived as soon as the restaurant opened because of our train schedule. Despite the kitchen not being ready yet, the staff welcomed us warmly, allowing us to sit comfortably while they prepared the restaurant.

Travelling with luggage can be a hassle, but they went above and beyond, providing space for us to relax and ensuring we had a stress-free experience.

By our third visit, they must have been thinking, “Are they moving in here?!” 😄 But honestly, their warm hospitality made us feel like family, not just customers.

This was my very first visit to Venice, and I was delighted to discover Grill It Halal, a restaurant that turned out to be a real gem for dinner during my stay. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere, the warm and attentive staff, and the overall positive vibe of the place. The food was genuinely delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality and the central location. I opted for the mixed grill platter, which was a great way to sample a variety of meats and flavors. It gave me the chance to explore different options and find out which ones I enjoyed the most. A thoughtful touch that stood out was the complimentary starter: a small snack with a tasty dip, accompanied by freshly cut vegetables. It was a simple yet generous gesture that made the experience feel even more hospitable. The dish shown in the photo cost around €17, which I found to be excellent value for the quality and portion size. This was our very first visit to Venice, and we were thrilled to discover « Grill It Halal » truly a hidden gem in the city for dinner. From the moment we entered in with family, we felt welcomed by the warm greetings « Assalamu Alaikum », atmosphere and the genuinely attentive staff, Alhamdulillah.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried several different platters, which was perfect for sampling a variety of meats and flavours, each one cooked to perfection. The complimentary starter of fresh vegetables with a tasty dip was a lovely touch that set the tone for the meal and Kids enjoyed it well until the end.

Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, especially given the central location.
