The restaurant was located in a student center, so it was away from the hustle of Venice tourist areas. This created a quiet and calm place to eat.

There were a couple of options for vegans but not outrightly stated on the menu, but the servers and chef were very helpful in clarifying the options when asked. Overall the multiple menus and lack of clarity for dietary preferences was the main concern.

Assolutamente straordinario, fuori dal comune; mai avrei pensato esistesse un posto del genere nella mia città, e ci vivo da 70 anni. Eravamo in 20, il consueto desinare con i compagni del liceo di 53 anni fa, pranzo semestrale come di consueto, ristorante nuovo pressoché per ognuno. Sono “attempato” e sono abituato, da tempo, a ristoranti più “strutturati”, scelto menù di pesce, parto leggermente prevenuto. Spazio fuori molto ampio, arioso, parecchi ombrelloni, si largheggia, l’interno è parecchio vasto, non ci si disturba l’un l’altro, aria condizionata, tavoli semplici, ragazzi che stazionano lì (siamo all’interno del campus della facoltà di d'architettura, ordinato, nuovo, pulito), tranquilli, studiando per ore, laptop aperti, mangiando e bevendo in gruppo. Ciò premesso abbiamo mangiato in maniera assolutamente notevole. Antipasti freschi, cozze impagabili, seppie di burro, pasticcio discreto, fritto leggerissimo, croccante, fritto in olio nuovissimo, piatti ricchi, i dolci, curati anche quelli. Personale giovane, veloce e cortese, disponibile. Prezzi onesti. Poiché è imperativo io ci torni, ho chiamato la sera stessa per capire come prenotare o ordinare, mi hanno, addirittura, richiamato, dimostrandosi premurosi, cortesi, veloci in ordine alle indicazioni che mi hanno fornito. Da non perdere....
