It’s not clear feeling about this place. You should try though. We looked through the menu. There was enough options. But when waiter came he offered “out of menu” dishes. And we chose one of them (pasta with truffles). The food is amazing. Octopus was perfectly cooked. Exactly as it must be. Pasta with truffles was very good too. Panna cotta 5/10, not cool. But with all this berries it was pretty eatable. The funny thing was at the end. When we got the bill they made price for pasta 40 euros which is level of Michelin restaurant (but not regular street spot). We planned to have them some tips but we decided to not do it. After all I checked the reviews of this place and they cheating/playing with prices quite often. So be careful about it. Final conclusion: the food is worth to try; and if you’ll be prepared for little cheating it will be fun for you.

Everything about this place is really good. I had the ink squid with the sardines and risotto. You can't really go bad. Definitely get the spritz before your meal. You will really enjoy it seating's. Okay, A lot of times you will have to make a reservations but if you get there as soon as they open and you want to sit inside, they'll sit you. They hold reservations for people that want to sit outside but understand people in Italy tend to eat about 8:00, 7:30, 8:00, 9:00. So if you can get in before then you should be okay. Also know there is a charge for a water and bread. They'll put the bread down and if you eat it they'll charge you. If you don't they won't. That's all through Italy

Food and overall service here was good, we ordered 2 pasta dishes - one with a tomato sauce and the other with ricotta and bacon.. however, staff seemed more bothered about talking on the phone to friends and serving friends who had come in for a quick chat over paying customers. We were charged €5 for water we didn't ask for and the house wine served was at an extortionate cost of €9 per small glass - we have been to many places in Venice on our trip serving wine for €3-€4 a glass. Good for a quick meal but one to avoid if you don't want to be overcharged for the basics. Only one vegetarian pasta on the menu also.

I recently dined at a restaurant in Venice that left me with an incredibly disappointing experience. This establishment, which I would categorize as a tourist trap, presented a series of issues that marred what should have been an enjoyable meal.

Upon arrival, we entrusted the waiter's recommendations for our dishes, assuming they would fall within a reasonable price range. However, our optimism quickly turned to shock when we received the bill at the end of our meal. The prices listed were exorbitant, surpassing anything I've encountered not only in Italy but anywhere in the world.

What made matters worse was the staff's attitude. When we questioned the prices, they responded with unpleasantness and even threatened to involve the police. This level of hostility and lack of transparency regarding the cost of the dishes left a sour taste in our mouths, figuratively and literally.

In summary, I would strongly caution fellow travelers to be wary of this particular restaurant in Venice. While the city is renowned for its culinary delights, there are unfortunately establishments like this one that prioritize profit over providing an enjoyable dining experience. Seek out local recommendations and reviews to ensure a more positive and honest dining experience during your...

Firstly food is not fresh and expensive for nothing. Secondly, they are not honest at all. Me and my boyfriend ordered 4 oysters with the price they told us as 5 euro each. At the end we found it’s 6 euro on the bills. They immediately changed it to 5 again which meant they actually knew but they just tried to charge more and expected we couldn’t find out. We ordered one portion of a special starter and the restaurant gave us two of it and didn’t explain at all then just charged us two of it. There were a group of Chinese sitting beside us and we thought they had the same problem as well. They barely spoke English so the restaurant just added a bunch of things they never ordered but they found out at the end. I can understand your cooking probably was not good and you are at a traveling place that makes your food not that fresh. But I clearly see that you are trying to cheat on people and make fool of them. I deeply hope no one gets this experience in their...
