Decent service and atmosphere; however the food and wine is a shame to Italian cuisine. Also not appropriate is that a member of staff addressed me verbally, somewhat aggressive, when I passed by after I had written this review and questioned my review. I didn’t feel comfortable at all.///////// The next paragraph is written as a feedback to the reaction of the owner after I wrote my initial review. I understand from the reaction that the owner is not aware of certain aspects and he deserves more “explanation behind” so that he is able to improve as he kindly suggests. I am grateful for the request for feedback: - the colleague who addressed me personally after I had written this review, while I was passing by the restaurant, started saying “Thank you for the review”. To me it came across as cynical and the body language seemed aggressive. He said that I knew what I had asked for since it is on the picture in the book he holds when inviting clients. This was completely next to the point as we had agreed to get a lobster dish prepared differently than what is on those menu, and being without sauce. The colleague didn’t seem to know, didn’t listen to me and I left the discussion. - we didn’t like the lobster as it completely did not provide for what we agreed. We had agreed to have half lobster prepared from scratch without (the tomato) sauce. The meat of the lobster we got tasted completely to tomato sauce and had the color of it; and clearly was not prepared specifically for us. It was just the lobster as being pre-prepared in tomato sauce . The consistency of the lobster meat was as a soft pulp. - the pasta in the pasta bolognese was not at all ‘al dente’; it was too much boiled. - the wine was cheap (but not what we paid) and too acidic. Not drinkable. - the owner writes that we didn’t say anything while we were at the place: the waiters should have seen that the lobster was nearly untouched and the glass of wine remained full. Nothing was asked about how we experienced the food or drinks. I absolutely agree that we all have different tastes. However certain quality elements are quite universal. Thank you for the request for more detailed feedback and the same best wishes. Boris.

The tables are way to big where there is a couch. All the cushions are completely ripped apart! We were waiting 45min for our 4 pizzas. Then the waiter instructed me to put my 1 year old into the child seat because he cannot stand in their way. The waiter was so rude! Than we had some leftover pizza and we asked if they can put it into a box for us to takeaway. and look at the picture how they packed it! I really do not recommend this place! Your reply only confirms why I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. Instead of handling criticism professionally, you respond with personal attacks and rudeness. Yes, we waited far too long for our food, yes, the seating was in poor condition, and yes, the way our leftovers were packed was unacceptable—these are all valid complaints. Regarding child-friendliness: If you truly cared about safety, your staff would have handled the situation with more professionalism and courtesy instead of lecturing us on how to parent. A restaurant that reacts this way to feedback should probably reconsider how it treats its guests. Best regards,

The food and ambience was ok. However, the owner’s son was very deceptive when he spoke about his recommended dish of a seafood dish for two. It appeared to us the dish was a €40 for 2 people. However, Osama took time to explain the dish and never explained it was €40 per person and the dish was good for 2. We realized that it only at the end and felt was not worth and not a usual way for pricing in fine letter. In the menu. Be careful be aware. When asked at the end, he was trying to defend by showing us in the menu where it was written in fine print that it was for 2 person and €40 per person- not the usual way it is priced in any menu. Typically, one would interpret it as the price is for two person. Nevertheless, we did pay and this is just for the information of future patrons.

Ristorante Noemi: A Solid Venetian Dining Experience!

Ristorante Noemi is definitely geared towards tourists, and while some might label that a 'tourist trap,' I found it to be a perfectly enjoyable dining experience. It's conveniently located, and you can tell it caters to the steady flow of visitors wanting a taste of Venice.

Let's be honest, we all want to eat well while exploring a beautiful city, and Noemi delivered on that front. We had a lovely meal; the food was tasty, well-prepared, and the portions were satisfying. While it might not be the most 'authentic' hidden gem, it offers reliable, good-quality Italian dishes.

The staff were also perfectly fine – attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. They handled the busy atmosphere with ease, which is a testament to their professionalism.

If you're looking for a convenient and enjoyable meal during your Venetian explorations, Ristorante Noemi is a good option. It's a solid choice for a pleasant dining experience, even if it is clearly oriented towards the tourist crowd. You get a decent meal, good service, and a nice atmosphere. Would recommend for a reliable and enjoyable Italian meal in a busy day of...
