Great hotel, very clean, room was a good size and the bathroom in the superior room was more spacious than I expected, more like a wet room, which was great! The room was nicely decorated with high beam ceilings, the only criticism would be there was no mirror in the bedroom, only ones in the bathroom. The room was spotless and the free juice, water and yoghurts in the fridge were great! The location was very central, less than 5 mins walk to San Marco Plaza and about 5 mins from Rialto. The street the hotel was on was quiet, although being at the front of the hotel you could hear some noise from people coming and going at night/in the early morning and the bells of the Saint Mark’s Tower ringing, but nothing major or stopped me from getting a good nights sleep. The bed was very comfy! Although there was no breakfast served by the hotel the little cafe that adjoined the hotel did lovely croissants, cakes and amazing coffee which was perfect for breakfast. The 15% off discount for hotel guests was a nice touch too! The staff in the hotel were also very friendly and polite and the reception was staffed 24hrs. Overall this was a great hotel, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a short stay in Venice and wanting to be near to all the main attractions. It definitely feels more like a 4 star hotel and I’d happily...

The first thing that strikes you upon entering Rosa Salva is the incredible aroma of freshly baked goods. The display case is filled with an impressive assortment of sweet treats, from delicate pastries to rich, indulgent cakes. My personal favorites include the delicate fruit tarts, the buttery croissants, and the decadent chocolate cakes.

Read moreWe stayed in one of the apartments at this hotel which was a perfect option for us. As many have said here the staff were fantastic from the welcome on our first day to helping us with any request we had in a very quick and friendly way. They all work hard and do an excellent job.||The apartment (one bedroom) was very spacious and well equipped. We were short of a couple of things (e.g. sharp knife for the kitchen, but this was sorted out instantly). It looked like the room was recently refurbished. It was very clean, modern and well equipped.||The hotel itself is in a great, central position giving easy access to the main sites like Saint Mark's, but also very easy walking access to most Venice districts and attractions.||There is no restaurant in the hotel, but the coffee shop is to die for. It is very popular with locals and tourists, but there is a dedicated seating area for hotel guests, and you also get a...
