Untrained, unprofessional and dishonest staff.
I have been a loyal LV customer for years, among others collecting keepall bags. Bought a grey-torquoise 45 keepall and asked if they can do stamping on the bagtag. First of all, it was close to closing time and while the stamping being important for me, the associate (unfortunately I do not remember his name) was very pushy trying to sell us other things we did not want. When asked to focus on the stamping, then he went to do it.
We were excited to get the store’s local gondola icon (you can get local icons in some LV stores like Kitzbuhel or Venice). First of all, it took him 25+ minutes to do it (although there was noone other waiting for stamping), then he brought back the tag with the icon stamped on one side (not in the middle) going over the stitches. Looked like something a 9-year old made with a stamping toy.
Then the worst thing was he did not live up to his mistake, but tried to tell me a story, how that is the only way it can be done (I have multiple stamped bagtags from LV stores all around the world, so I know for a fact it is not true). He went away again for another 20 mins to fix it and add my inititals (which first he said cannot be done). He came back with an even worse end result, with smudged and too small letters again not in the middle of the tag. He again tried to blame “the type of leather that makes it hard to stamp”. At this point I asked for the store manager. She was nice, offered to start the process again with someone trained in the stamping, but we decided to leave end with a new, empty bagtag (thankfully at least they had another one in the color that went with the bag) to cut things short after having waited 45+ minutes for nothing. We had a dinner appointment that we would have missed otherwise.
It is less about whether I got the stamped bagtag or not, and more about the overall bad experience created by an associate who clearly tried to do something he was not trained in, then tried to cover it with dumb lies that a loyal LV customer easily sees through.
When one shops at places like LV, it is not only about the product, but it is supposed to be a splendid experience. In this store they cannot provide you that, it is more reminiscent of a hypermarket where throughput is paramount, not quality and service.
Never going again to this store, and I advise everyone to be careful if you go here. The only positive is that the store is quite large with a...
Read moreI wish I could give zero stars! I’ve never been treated so poorly in any store, anywhere in the world. We had a fabulous experience at our recent visit to Louis Vuitton in Hawaii, and elsewhere, so it was just this location!
The experience we had in the store today in Venice makes me never want to go into Louis Vuitton again. It was a total Pretty Woman moment! My son and I both enjoy their products, and he was interested in making another purchase, so it was very disappointing.
We are on vacation so we went in on a very hot day, dressed for sightseeing, walking around Venice, and hopping on and off water taxis. I guess we weren’t dressed to their standards as, similar to what others have posted, they had someone following us around. After a while, I was getting annoyed (grumpy old lady here! 🙋🏻♀️), so I turned and let her know that we did not need any assistance and asked if she was following us. She literally ran off, and obviously shared with her colleagues and the security guard, as he came up next. I looked at him, and shook my head. My son and I were looking at some wallets and when I pointed at one, he told me to find an assistant. I told him not to worry, we weren’t stealing anything.
We promptly went downstairs and left, where the initial assistant and all of her little friends were standing in a circle cackling, and as I was walking out, I told the doorman what a rude store it was! I don’t care what store/brand it is, I refuse to give a store like that my money after being treated that way.
I’ve always wanted to tell people like that (who profile people, and make you feel like you are not worthy to be in their store) that my engagement ring is worth more than their annual salary! Perhaps today was the day, and I missed the opportunity! 🤷🏻♀️😂
👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼, Louis...

Our first full day in Europe began in Venice under a blazing summer sun, with my in-laws (both in their 80s) bravely navigating the city’s winding alleys and water taxis. By the time we arrived at the Louis Vuitton boutique, it felt like stepping into a calm, cool sanctuary.
Luisa, our associate, greeted us with grace and intention. Seeing that our in-laws needed a break, she quickly found seats for them — a simple but thoughtful act that allowed us all to settle in and enjoy the space.
The boutique itself was beautiful, but it was the experience that elevated everything. My wife immediately found a pair of Sneakerinas and white ballet flats. I picked up a great pair of terry cloth shorts and the Venice City Guide — a perfect travel companion. Our kids discovered a theater-style activation on the upper floor, which I later experienced myself. It was artistic, immersive, and incredibly well executed — something you don’t expect, but won’t forget.
A moment we’ll always cherish: we got our first passport stamps on our Louis Vuitton passport covers — a gondolier in full silhouette, steering his boat across the ink. That touch was iconic. The kind of souvenir that tells a story every time you look at it.
Luisa stayed in contact with us during our travels, checking in via text to see if we needed anything else. That kind of follow-through is rare, and it made the experience feel even more personal.
What started as a quick boutique visit became a core memory of our first day in Europe — one filled with warmth, elegance, and a deep appreciation for thoughtful hospitality. Thank you, Luisa, and the entire LV...
