A nice open place along side the canal. Tourists and occasional gondola might pass by so maybe not ideal if you want a bit more private meal.
Actually very tasty food. Went for some traditional Venetian cousine and loved it. Staff was pleasant while ordering and paying.
I have to mention one thing though and by reading other reviews it seems like a repeating thing.
While waiting for our food, we overheard that for the two older ladies on the table next to us, they have messed up the order. They brushed it of, told the waiter it was fine once he brought the food. They just told him it’s a similar meal but not the same, it does cost more of course. Didn’t think too much of it really.
Well funny enough, the same thing happened to me as well just a few moments later. I ordered shrimp skewers. They gave me some scampi busara variation. Maybe they thought, oh well another tourist, not gonna notice the difference. It’s not a significant money difference but it’s not the thing I ordered.
I pointed at the menu item together with the waiter, he wrote it down. When they brought the food, told them it’s not what I ordered, pointed at the menu item again.
They apologised for the wrong order and blamed it on the kitchen mistaking the dish. Would have given it 3 stars because of this but since they resolved the issue promptly without problems and without accusing me of changing the order I’ll take the incident out of the review score.
Anyways, just double check what you ordered and don’t hesitate to deny the meal if it’s not what you wanted.
Don’t get discouraged by the incident, food is still great, and they will resolve the issue if it happens. Remember to stay calm, humble, and polite...
Read moreFrom start to finish, everything about this restaurant was exceptional. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food—simply outstanding. It’s the perfect combination that makes a dining experience truly memorable.
Ferat, our server, was especially wonderful. He made us feel genuinely welcome and took great care to ensure we were enjoying both our food and drinks. His attentiveness and kindness set the tone for the whole evening.
This isn’t one of those typical “tourist trap” spots where you feel like just another passerby. Instead, it feels personal and authentic.
The spaghetti Bolognese was rich and flavorful, while the bruschetta was grilled perfectly—not too hard or crunchy—with fresh tomatoes that struck the ideal balance of sweet and tart.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and enjoy excellent food with...
Read moreI can’t begin to tell you how much this place and the staff meant to me and my family! We ate there multiple times and my children will remember eating here and laughing with the staff for the rest of their lives. Our youngest daughter dropped her glass goldfish she got on Murano island into the canal next to our table. She was so sad, but the staff comforted her and looked into the water with her as she cried. So sweet! We got her another one but didn’t tell her, and our waited took a picture with it to surprise her when we get home! We will miss our friends and are forever grateful❤️! Oh, and the food was some of the best we had in Venice too. Caprese antipasto followed by Fettuccini Alfredo tossed in cheese wheel or Penne Arrabbiata, then finish with Tiramisu and a Cappuccino (or a Limoncello shot) will have you...
