going tourist place , I always not sure local restaurant's quality as most of them make for non-coming back tourist. This restaurant changed my prospect on the tourist spot restaurant. (To be fair Corniglia is the quietest town among 5 towns and this is town for get away from crowded and noisy places. ) the food is exceptional, as they made to order freshly. sea food risotto is our favourite, no creamy and risotto rice completely cooked long time is sea food broth, all sea food were so fresh. we wanted to try pesto pasta and unfortunately they ran out the fresh basil so we did not get change to have, instead we had their signature dish, tuna and pistachio dish, never though tuna can cooked with pistachio sauce, but we were wrong, we cant even taste fishy, the combination was amazing, and surprised us. it was so so good.

I came based on a recommendation. 2nd dinner for the eve. Not impressed. Only 2 cheeses on the dish and just ok. Service was quite slow but not bad. Way more expensive than my 1st stop and way less tasty. Bummer. I was rooting for them. The atmosphere was just ok, in a plaza. I asked for a box to go, she packed it up for me instead. I was hoping to take the bread to accompany my cheese, but that was excluded in the takeaway. Booooo. The wine was just ok also. And I couldn't take the sparkling water i paid for with me. Apparently, they refill it. Eww. If you want a great cheese plate pass on this place. Maybe the other dishes are great but not...

Un'esperienza agrodolce.

La nostra serata era promettente, complice una location che ispirava e un menù sulla carta invitante. Tuttavia, le premesse positive hanno iniziato a vacillare ancor prima di sederci. La richiesta di arrivare tra le 20:30 e le 21:00 si è scontrata con un categorico "massimo alle 20:00". Un orario, diciamocelo, un po' restrittivo.

Ma il vero banco di prova della pazienza è arrivato con l'attesa dei primi piatti: ben un'ora e un quarto di orologio! Un lasso di tempo che ha inevitabilmente smorzato l'entusiasmo iniziale e fatto serpeggiare un certo malcontento al tavolo. A peggiorare ulteriormente la situazione, i piatti sono arrivati a singhiozzo, con alcune persone che avevano già iniziato a mangiare mentre altre ancora aspettavano. Un vero peccato, soprattutto considerando che nel mio piatto di spaghetti alle vongole ho trovato fin troppe conchiglie ostinatamente chiuse, un dettaglio che denota una mancanza di attenzione in fase di preparazione.

Fortunatamente, una volta superato questo "calvario" iniziale, l'esperienza ha preso una piega decisamente più piacevole. I piatti, nel loro complesso, si sono rivelati saporiti e ben bilanciati, presentati con un occhio di riguardo all'estetica.

Se la valutazione si basasse unicamente sulla qualità e la bontà dei piatti, senza dubbio questo ristorante meriterebbe un punteggio elevato. Purtroppo, l'inaccettabile ritardo nel servizio e la gestione poco fluida delle comande hanno pesantemente condizionato la nostra esperienza. Un vero peccato, perché con una maggiore attenzione ai tempi e all'organizzazione, questo locale avrebbe tutte le carte in regola per eccellere. Resta l'amaro in bocca per un potenziale non espresso.
