Wine Bar Enoteca Della Corte — Restaurant in Vernazza

We were recommended this little gem in Corniglia when we checked into our hotel, and our host even walked us down to introduce us to the owner, Nicole. From the very first moment, Nicole was the warmest and most welcoming person we’ve met on our travels.

We were four girls, exhausted after a long day of traveling, and she immediately made us feel at home. She guided us through an incredible spread of local meats and cheeses (including fresh honey from her family and amazing Olive oil), two types of bruschetta that were absolutely mouthwatering, and a selection of desserts that felt like pure heaven in every bite. Later that night, a couple of us went back for focaccia, and to say it was amazing doesn’t even do it justice.

What made this place so special, beyond the food, was Nicole herself. She treated us like family, from her perfect wine recommendations to sharing her local knowledge. She gave us tips for breakfast the next morning in Corniglia, and even went so far as to book us a lunch in Monterosso at one of her favorite restaurants, which turned out to be another unforgettable experience.

Nicole checked in on us, introduced us to her friends, and created the kind of hospitality you just can’t find everywhere. She is a beautiful human being with a huge heart, and her restaurant reflects that. If you’re in Corniglia, do yourself a favor and visit—you’d be missing...

The reviews spoke of a wonderful place so we headed over for a snack (we'd eaten too much in Monterosso already!). I wanted to try the CT Sciacchetra wine so opted for the wine tasting, and we popped on a cheese+meat platter, and some other bits. Nicole, the owner, took us through the wines on offer, whilst also giving us history of the grapes and regions in them. She is clearly extremely passionate, and has contacts throughout the regions. The Sciacchetra is delicious, a very complex wine with a compelling history.

This restaurant is an absolute delight. We were recommended this place from our accomodation so made our way straight down after check in. Her service was unmatched, had amazing knowledge and recommendations. The food was outstanding! A few of us actually went back down for dinner later on and had an equally amazing experience. Nicole went out of her way to help us make the most out of our trip and give recommendations for restaurant in other areas of Corniglia and Cinque Terre.
