Beverages are routinely served in plastic cups, and if you prefer glassware, an additional fee is charged, possibly due to concerns about theft. Adding to the disappointment, the outdoor seating area is located in close proximity to garbage containers, which significantly diminishes the overall ambiance. I tried the Paella, my husband wanted a piece of prosciutto pizza but it was sold out so Nicola went the extra mile and actually sliced some for him and added it to a piece of margarita pizza! We were so shocked! Who does this for tourists in an extremely busy area of Verona? Perhaps it was because we were also polite, friendly, respectful and used every bit of Italian language that we could.
