La Contadina is the TOP place in Verona for fresh mozzirella and burrata. It offers outstanding cheese dishes and pastas--always the highest quality,food. I is a two minute walk from Castel Vecchio and a complete escape from the tourist traps. You can eat in or take home cheese and specialty food products from Puglia. The wine list is meagre but who cares when the food is this good? You cab take out excellent rustic bread baked in wooden ovens i Puglia.

Very local place for cheese, ham and lasagna. At first, I thought it’s just a cheese and ham shop. But inside they have many seats. They have a good lunch menu. I ordered Bresaola and a little mozzarella. They are amazing! I’m very happy that I walked into this place and stayed to eat. Btw, many locals are here

Our food was amazing. Fresh and delicious prosciutto and bufala mozzarella. Amazing sauce (both the pomodoro and the ragu) with our gnocchi. Fresh complimentary bruschetta. Lovely service too!

This is one of the places you need to go in Italy, one of the biggest pearls of my journey. We walked in and it was a bit early for lunch so the guys on the counter were the cooks, which could pass you as impolite (as a Portuguese person I already know this means the food is good and they just don't want bull shot), we waited a little bit and a lovely lady came and helped us make our order. All the food was amazing and everything was traditional and done the traditional way. Would recommend, this is one of 3 places I would go back to...
