L'Hamburgheria di Volterra — Restaurant in Volterra

We have been traveling now for two weeks in Italy and although we have had amazing Italian food we were craving something from home. LHamburgheria was just what we were looking for! The cheeseburgers were fabulous, they had many choices to pick from for toppings! I just had a sandwich w pork roast, grilled peppers, caramelized onions on oil bread. Out of this world. My wife and daughter both had traditional burgers with the freshest toppings, crisp lettuce, onions, tomato’s with a chive mayo on a homemade roll. Let me not forget the handcut fries that he makes right in front of you. The best I’ve ever eaten. Everything tastes so fresh and clean. The meal was perfect w a Mole Cola, an Italian soda which is a perfect soda, kind of like a mix between Pepsi and a Coke! The is the first restaurant that we’ve come back to a 2nd time on...

Potenziale che al momento non esprime del tutto... le pietanze che abbiamo consumato in linea generale ben fatte tranne le polpettine che a mio avviso erano troppo asciutte e quindi un po' dure, la Piadina e i panini fuori menù molto buoni, invece serviti un po' freddi i panini presenti a menù. Il personale appare improvvisato, in particolare non ho gradito che indossando i guanti si procedesse a fare qualsiasi cosa, dal servizio ai tavoli al pagamento in cassa, dalla comanda alla sistemazione delle pattumiere. Non ho notato né la sanificazione degli stessi né il cambio di guanti... purtroppo non ho nemmeno visto sanificare i cestini con cui servono alcune portate che tra l'altro sono riposte dagli stessi avventori. Utilizzano forchettine in legno ma non confezionate singolarmente, mi è stata portata al tavolo sempre con gli stessi guanti di cui sopra. 28/08/2020 A seguito della risposta del titolare, Aggiungerei che trovo sgradevole si affermi che la mia recensione sia forviante e non reale... Semplicemente ho riportato fedelmente la mia esperienza durata poco più di 1ora in cui ho visto quanto riportato. (La signora ha preso la comanda e ha portato a tavola 2 panini, poi è rimasta in cucina... Invece il signore presente ha preparato le patatine, ha sistemato la zona pattumiere, ha portato a tavola la piadina, le polpettine, le patatine e la forchetta citata precedente... Infine ho pagato in cassa sempre al signore presente e non ho potuto fare a meno di notare che i guanti fossero sempre gli stessi. In merito alle pietanze servite... erano buone e calde le scelte fuori menù, invece le pietanze presentate sul menù sono arrivate fredde ma comunque gustose probabilmente perché alcune cose sono già preparate in precedenza). Sottolineo che ho dato 3 stelle poiché gli aspetti sgradevoli segnalati sono in ogni caso sanabili. Non è elegante dare della bugiarda ad una cliente... Peccato per voi. Per quanto sopra modifico la valutazione...

I tried really hard to love this place as much as some of the reviews did. The hamburger bun was WAY too hard, burgers need a softer bun whereas this one was too dense, perhaps there was another bun option? My 5 piece chicken looked like a joke and also came extremely salty but they did make me another plate of (with salt on the side) which I was grateful for. The waiter/chef was very friendly and explained the menus to us in English and set up the high chair for us. They also had little toys for kids...
