The Pizza “Julietta” was perfect! Some people may not enjoy having a pizza that’s not steaming hot, but it came to me ready to eat immediately! The service is obviously slow as it is in the airport, but I had 1.5 hours to kill. It appears that they are short-handed on staff, but they were friendly enough. So sorry to see the awful reviews. Guess I was in luck! The 4/5 is because as I’m writing this review, I’m sitting in the restaurant watching three cooks running back and forth and the hostess coming to seat people and clean tables, whilst waiters glide from the front to the back of the house in what appears to be a small panic—they could definitely improve timeliness by hiring more staff for dinner time. Dessert just arrived. Yeah, a 4/5 is about right. Ranks pretty high for airport food! ...

Tobe precise, we were here 5 days ago on a Sunday evening at about 6.45 pm. I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars for the dining experience in an airport. I was t expecting to have dinner it was a wee early before 7 pm. I wanted to give it a go. Price wise is acceptable for airport dining. Menu has enough variety from starters to salads as main dishes, pizzas, pastas and meat with also options for vegetarians. Service was exceptional. Most of the time restaurants in airports have lamentable service and they are understaffed. We were seated promptly, waiter was patient, friendly and was helpful in our choices The pasta was delicious. Al dente, sauce was delicious, generous portions....Highly recommended! Thank you for the wonderful dining experience during an hour while waiting for our flight!

One of the worst meals I've ever eaten. I'm not going to address the fact that any food made by Jamie Oliver cannot, under any circumstances, be classed as Italian. We're all aware that Italians despise JO. Firstly, It's incredibly disappointing that Nice Airport T2 doesn't have more places to eat - other than sandwich bars. As I'd already eaten a sandwich for my two previous meals and needed something more substantial, I had to turn to the only restaurant, thinking that if I accept it's not Italian food, it can't be that bad. How wrong I was. Overpriced. Not what is described on the menu. Understaffed. The poor staff. The restaurant was full, with a long queue, and there were only 3 waiters in total. They had no time to actually serve customers, and I felt like a fleeting thought as 2 waiters acknowledged I wanted my bill, but couldn't stand still long enough to bring it to me. They were doing the best they could and deserve more staff to be hired. The food: I ordered the Zuca Cannelloni, which implies there will be some form of squash (usually pumpkin) and yet there were only two, very small, squares of squash in the entire portion. The flavour of squash did not come through at all. I love cheese - good quality cheese. I would hope that for the price charged, the cheese would be of a high standard. There was too much and it was not good quality. The pasta was overcooked. The tomato based sauce seemed to relegated to the sides, rather than incorporated into the meal. It was huge! A meal with that much cheese does not need to be that big. Never in my life have I had to add so much salt to a restaurant meal! The taste and sheer quantity made me feel sick and I could not finish it - I detest wasting food (& money on food!) Price: Honestly, had the waiters not been so rushed, I would have complained and refused to pay the full €18.50 for the meal. That is a ludicrous amount for a meal of such low standards. It is a rip off and I feel I should be owed a refund. Overall, this was a horrible experience, horrible meal. The photo shows what I left, after forcing myself to eat because I needed to eat and it was expensive. I would not recommend Jamie's "Italian" at the best of times, but especially not now that I've actually tried it. Overpriced and not as described.

Beyond atrocious food, if food is what you can even call it. The weird ravioli things were completely dry and eating cardboard would be more enjoyable. But they claim to be a Caprese salad is tomatoes with a teaspoon of mozzarella on the side, with one rotting leaf of basil, and the squid makes me nauseous to even think about it. Our service was lovely and attentive and apologetic when she realized how little we were eating. However when she came to take the payment another server came up and was rushing me to get my card out to pay in order for him to take the card machine singing “allez, allez, allez, allez”…. It is 2 hour of my life and way too much money I will never get back

Poor service. Male waiters slow at taking orders and serving with attitude. Our waiter took our order then turned next door n said bonjour to the lady next to us with his note pad( indicating he would take her order too) so she proceeded to speak; he cut her off and told her to wait a minute. Then when he was ready he spoke to her again. They showed no urgency to serve/ take orders for customers. I'd prefer a rush than slack service, given it's at the airport. We needed to eat and go. Also no take away option. And no hot pasta option from Jamie's Deli (next door). Had the small portion of pasta. It's not worth the price. Tiny portion! 2 bites and you're done. AVOID

The meal was going great until I found FLIES in the balsamic dressing and olive oil after eating the entire meal with them. What my sister thought was small pieces of pepper turned out to be fruit flies scattered all over the plate from said sauces. Upon telling the staff member he briefly apologised and then took the sauces away. Leaving us sitting at the table feeling extremely sick and embarrassed. As a vegetarian also this is even more disgusting and unforgivable, I wouldn’t think I’d have to specify no flies with my meal especially at a Jamie Oliver restaurant!
