Popped in on a Sat eve. They sat me at the kitchen counter. Seeing the Japanese chef in action effortlessly mastering his trade was insightful. Lovely 3 course meal - omelette gorgonzola, spaghetti carbonara and their white magic pudding (panna cotta). Washed down with Yebisu beer and a 1/2 litre carafe of their house red wine. All excellent. The food was about ¥3,700, the wine ¥1,800 and the beer ¥700 per bottle. Service was excellent. All perfect.

This place is truly outstanding! I’ve lived all over the world and this is probably some of the best Italian food I’ve eaten. I can’t say enough about how good it is. The chef that prepared the meals worked at the famous Roy’s in Tokyo.

We visited as a family and ordered a selection of meals including salad and pizza which were great, but the vegetables with the piedmont sauce was terrific and the chicken specialty of the house really great - best chicken in Japan. The chef is a master of Italian food and very friendly. The house red wine was also very good. Easy to find on the ocean side of the main station. Will return,...

After a long day of hiking, we wanted something easy and close to our hotel. We were craving Italian and selected the restaurant closest to our hotel and wow! Fantastic pizza and great pasta carbonara! We wish we’d had more energy and had cleaned up before dinner so we might have stayed longer and enjoyed cocktails and dessert....
