Pacifico Crab Shack — Restaurant in Chatan

We had intentions of going to another restaurant on the street but after seeing the setup decided to stop by Mike's instead. Boy, are we glad we did. Being born and raised in San Diego I know a thing or two about good Mexican food. This is one of the best spots we have found on island. They have a variety of options on their menu. The guacamole is freshly made + the chips were some of the best we've ever had.

They offer kid menu items and a variety of different meats. They serve fresh margaritas + the salsa refills are free! This is a great spot if you're looking for a good Mexican meal! They take cash + credit card. I would definitely recommend...

So far this is my favourite Mexican place in Okinawa, as most of them do not even have enchiladas. They don't use a red sauce for their enchiladas, it's a clear/white sauce that I'm not sure what it is, but whatever it is, it is quite delicious. In regards to the place being takeout only, everything in the doorway is blocked off and very clear it's takeout only and it's very obviously because the floor is rotten and definitely not rated for any safety in regards to running business on top of it. The owner has never been rude when we've gone and honestly this food tastes like it's made with love and it's my go to...

Update: We come here for all of our special events and every time they've come out and asked us to come in early, before opening. We became accustomed to this so we showed up at the same time we always do but this time the staff just stood inside of the door and watched us standing out in the heat with our baby. They created the expectation and then fell short of it.

Our family loves this place. The staff are absolutely wonderful and the food is amazing. We've now tried every "appetizer" and both snow and king crabs... It's all awesome. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. I can't say enough good things...
