I can confidently say this was the best French meal I've had in Japan, and possibly in the world. Having visited France and other renowned culinary destinations, nothing has compared to the experience at this restaurant. The place is run solely by the chef and owner, which gives it a unique, intimate feel—like having a private chef preparing a spectacular meal just for you.
We sat at the bar, where we were able to watch the chef work his magic firsthand. Each course was impeccably prepared, fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced. Highlights included the terrine, special baguette, Waugh beef, and duck. The compote of fruits for dessert was an absolute standout as well.
The chef has over 30 years of experience, having trained in France, worked for the Japanese embassy, and even studied in Guadalajara to learn how to fuse local flavors with classic French techniques. This wealth of experience truly shines through in every dish.
Pro Tip: The entire menu is in Japanese, so be prepared to translate. But it’s worth it! Don’t miss out on the special dishes mentioned above.

Read moreOff the beaten path and rather unassuming from the facade, a huge surprise welcomes those that take the trek to enter the threshold. A chef waits to greet you kindly with incredible food, great conversation, and an insane rotating menu.
As the menu changes every two weeks, I can't tell you exactly what you will get, but I can confirm it will be incredible! I started with the scallops, which rested in an amazing citrus garlic sauce. I ordered some herb Butter bread to sop up the sauce and then moved onto my main, which was filet Mignon and Foie Gras sautéed in a porcini sauce. Enraptured by the food, I decided I hadn't had quite enough and ordered the New Zealand oysters, which went down like silk.
A classically French-trained chef who has worked in four countries makes this unexpected delight a true gem in the back streets of Okinawa. Seek this location out at your soonest...
Read moreWe are here at the recommendation of another couple. They told us that the food and service here was phenomenal and they were not lying. The chef was very personable and we had a great time conversing with him about the menu, where he’s cooked at, and the wine selection. He changes the menu monthly, so what we had may not be available. We had the marinated scallops with flavored vegetable sauce for an appetizer. They were fresh and delicious. The sauce was fantastic. For entrees we had the duck roast with aroma honey sauce and the lamb thigh simmered in tomato sauce. Both were awesome. We also had the herb butter toast and the assorted cheeses and fruits. We will...
